England under 21 international, very quick, 20 appearances last season and according to the Torygraph, one to watch.

Respectfully, I disagree. He's a kid. I drove like a dick at times at his age and before I learned better. I was just very lucky no one pulled out of a side street in front of me, as they did him, in a flimsy old Micra with no air bags.
In other news, Murphy can play left sided as a winger according to Canaries fans.

#BWFC have taken ex-Manchester City and current Carlisle defender Courtney Meppen-Walter on trial.
Also, rumours are that the striker is Josh Murphy from Norwich. I don't know much about him.
He's one of the twins they have. One is good and one is shit. No idea which is which I'm afraid!
Do we have the good one, do we do we do we?
Josh is the one to watch. I'd be excited to get him!

For doing nearly twice the speed limit racing your mates on the way to get ready for a night out? Months after being caught also doing twice the speed limit?Bijou Bob wrote:A road traffic offence doesn't make him a gangsta. If it does, you can start calling me da Big B as I've got a speed awareness course on Thursday.
There have also been stories about letters he wrote in prison where he's playing the big man. Obviously not a crime in itself but hardly smacks of the sort of pro we want around Clough and Clayton. Hopefully he's grown up.
I've also mixed in (not entirely rationally) my anger at the fact he's not still in prison. 16 months for killing two people in that way is pathetic.

That's not victim blaming, it's how the court reported it. The couple sadly pulled out on him. Yes, he was driving like a knob, but that doesn't mean he's not allowed a shot at redemption at 20 years old ( I didn't give Marlin King the benefit as a serial offender). If he's learned from it and he's good enough, ill cut him some slack, if not then Lennon won't tolerate him and I wouldn't want him near the club.

The forward we are trying to sign is Wellington Silva. Brazilian. On loan from Arsenal.

Not a striker though it seems.

Wikipedia (pinch of salt taken as appropriate) has that Josh Murphy fella to us as a done deal. Season long loan.

Wikipedia is edited by anyone. It is totally irrelevant for such things. Murphy is currently, this afternoon playing for Norwich's reserves.onlywanderer wrote:Wikipedia (pinch of salt taken as appropriate) has that Josh Murphy fella to us as a done deal. Season long loan.

Exactly, or are we all pretending never to have done a few stupid things in our youth and were lucky with the outcome?Enoch wrote:Funny how folk interpret things differently, reads like 'there but for the grace of God' to me.throwawayboltonian wrote:Victim blaming, nice.Bijou Bob wrote:Respectfully, I disagree. I'm all for signing non-dicks, but I think the pool of players then available might be somewhat shallower and Trotter might then be more favourably viewed!

Not on duty today folks - follow @davidpyeBN for updates. But, yes, I think #bwfc fans had better get their wellies on...

BOLTON. Busy old day. Sounds like Wellington Silva from Arsenal emerging as a likely and interesting loan signing.
