Hm. At the very least it's certainly not encouraging given the rather vague hold up with his transfer.
I think he's been kidknapped..
Probably still looking for Nandos in Putney...

Plymouth will count him as a signing if it all falls through. Then point to the fact he was POTY at the end of the season.

Spot on. If the club don't help NL to get one, I wouldn't be surprised to see Him walk if we are still in this same predicament come to end of the window.

I still think Madine will come good. Heskey and Dobbie as backup are a joke though. We need a proven goalscorer.

Lennon walk? He's hardly in a position to. His results here beyond his start are shambolic to say the least. He needs to do some work on the training ground and sort us out beyond anything else.

I know we haven't got much but we'd have more if we hadn't pissed cash away on Dobbie, a sub right back and an attacker who's scored about five goals in his life.

Aye you do start to question how much we're spending on Heskey, Dobbie and Madine between them. Madine looked ok in pre-season, but his record ain't too hot overall.

If the reported 16k a week that Ream was on is reet, I'd say, well less than half Reams wages

Bit different, looking ok in pre=season against lower based teams, to then coming up against fairly good championship sides

Sorry its not about us - albeit on another forum a LB called Jse Manual Casano has been mentioned.

It was more about articles concerning FFP and QPR http://www.theguardian.com/football/201 ... ir-play-8m" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, which just give some idea of the bollocks of FFP and the reality of what we are competing with.
Some interesting points
- only being fined £8m - could/ should have been £50m
- seemed to get around it by the owner writing off the £60m loans (c'mon Eddie (easy when its somebody elses money))
- they got £9m as their part of the Sterling transfer
- they really are on their uppers - they won't pay more than £20kpw to new players

Vaz Te training with Bury....

With our lack of goalscoring options, perhaps NL should offer him a trial with us....we could do worse, he had a good record with West Ham a couple of seasons ago in the championship

Boris mentioned that Fulham have had a bid accepted for Dunk, and they were seemingly after him first. It may be a 2+2=5 case, but I'm a little hesitant about this vague hold-up and its timing with that bid.

I'd certainly consider offering him a trial at least. Never clicked with us in the EPL, but seemed decent enough at this level.
Nixon speculating Ream hold up is simply because he will need a work permit. Which sounds reasonable to me.

2012 0 0
2013 0 0

Total 12 0

I'd say 'regular' is pushing it

He's fine at our current level and anyone who suggests Bury can offer more money than us will have my size 21's up their crack.

It's his season!!

Seriously? I'd be quite happy to offer him a trial. Potentially - ah, potential, that great word - he can play across the front three. Lots to prove. 6ft 2in. Free. Still only 28. At this level: 43 games, 26 starts, 2400 minutes, 20 goals, a goal every 120 minutes.

So ream still not officially gone, work permit delaying it. If it gets knocked back then there will be fun and games.

A goal every 270 minutes and he'd be our top scorer this season.
