If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

If Moxey is out BN suggests we may give a short term contract to a Juan Manuel Casado who we have on trial.

For the want of a better place to put this ....

A 95th minute equaliser for Bristol City means we slump to bottom of the league this evening.

If it makes you feel better, Preston are 7th and have only scored one goal.

His MLS salary works out at £4,000 a week. Says a lot that I'd imagine that's higher than we want to pay.

"Bolton fan site rt33 says that M'Bolhi started his trial today".

Am I being dim ? What site is that ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

It's rt33 I think

In all seriousness, just checked it out and it's a rather mawkish twitter account called "Remember The 33"

Born in Paris to a Congolese father and Algerian mother. Played for France U17 / U18 then switched to Algeria (41 caps). Has also been on the books of clubs in six different countries:

Marseille B (France)
Heart of Midlothian (Scotland)
Ethnikos Piraeus (Greece)
Panetolikos (Greece)
Ryūkyū (Japan)
Slavia Sofia (Bulgaria)
- loaned to CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria)
Krylia Sovetov (Russia)
- loaned to CSKA Sofia (still Bulgaria)
- loaned to Gazélec Ajaccio (Corsica, oh alright, France)
CSKA Sofia (yep, still Bulgaria)
Philadelphia Union (US of A)

…and he seems never to have stayed at a senior club for longer than a season. Catch!

I wonder if our current crop have any idea how shit they are perceived as by the majority of their own fans, or the complete apathy amongst them? also cant be great for morale when the boss talks to the press about the gulf in class between them and the formidable opposition, a la Middlesbrough and Derby...

Must be unseasonably cold for August on the M61 with all that snow on the ground.

They seemed to like him at CSKA Sofia (wherever that is)!

I think Lennon wants some coffee shoved in front of him so he can fecking smell it.

Talk about THIS for forward planning ahead of the MK Dons match:

“I’m disappointed he’s not been available because we’ve had him (Wellington) in since Sunday night – it should have been done and dusted. That was a real source of frustration before the game.
“We set the team up with him in mind, but we’ll have him for the weekend and that should bring a bit of freshness.”

Set the team up with for a player who isn't actually ours yet?

Who's got the keys to the padded cells?

Presumably it's the duty of the secretary,(Simon Marland?) to get all the paper work completed on time and not Lennon. Another example of BWFC ineptitude?

Didn't the kid only arrive in Bolton that day? Do we only "set the team up" on the day?

Seems to have pace, decent technique, and draws a lot of fouls. Crossing looks good, would be useful for us to perhaps get the 'goal machine' working...
