I always think you should be annoyed at missing a penalty whether you're 3-0 up or chasing the game... it's the highest probability of scoring you can get in football. Madine should be ashamed of himself, the one cast-iron chance he's had to get himself off the mark and he ballses it up.
Harsh. Give yer head a shake.

Me too... as someone else mentioned before I just can't believe how much bad luck we get. We do need to get our shooting boots on and the BBC mbm had way too many 'Madine heads wide' for my liking but we're creating those chances and that's something to be positive about...

It's just frustrating because we can see that it just takes that little bit extra and we'd surely have more goals and points to show for our efforts.

It's not possible that we're making 15-20 chances a game and playing poorly.

Not scoring many of them is an issue, of course it is, but we are creating.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Maybe I am being harsh but he should certainly reflect on that...

not sure how we played, but the commentary makes it out as if we dominated (then again could be biased), Prince sounded like he had another storming game. So a deservedly scored goal? Hopefully we can pick up points at Blackburn, then let the players rejuvenate after international break, and start from there. Possible chance of deadline day signings next week, if funds to become avaliable? Lennon did go on a frenzy in January.

We had 20 shots, 3 on target including the penalty... that shows we're creating chances but are wasting them. I'd say our goal was well deserved for the obvious effort we're putting in. We as fans can certainly not complain about the team's work rate and what they're doing up to the penalty area. I'm impressed with Dervite's seemingly return to form as well, I was immensely frustrated by the guy in the second half of last year but he's working hard and playing well so I'll cut him some slack, seems to work well with Prince as well which is good to see. Wonder how Derik will fit in once he's fit?

It'll be hard to see anymore incomings without others going out, Pisano had to wait until Ream was gone to sign and probably the same for Silva. The signings we made in January were made possible first by Chungy leaving and then other players heading out on loan (Beckford etc).
