Reading Marc Iles' Tweets. There is a concern with the pitch and it has just started raining again. The ball does not bounce (described as a dead spot) in some parts of the pitch. Might be a doubt that it will take place this afternoon.

WTF was zicos answer to that first question about the pitch all about? To paraphrase:
Bbc man 'what do you think about the pitch will the game be on?'
TK 'thats the magic of the cup, I know all about winning cup games and upsets!'

Feck me, southern England is wet. Just been through some flooded fields in a place called Fleet, which tickled me.

Last time I had a train journey like this was on the way to Reading a few Januarys ago. This might even top that as a new low.
