Do we need to worry?

Re: Do we need to worry?
You really think a young upcoming manager with a sensible head like Coyle would take the Liverpool job at this moment?CAPSLOCK wrote:If it was offered he'd walk all the way
Just can't see why anybody would think he'd be offered it
Coyle will get his day in the sun, he's well liked and already has respect from his peers, he'll get a big job but I think it'll be in 2-3 years time.

Yeah I'm not worried at all really
I just think its football there is a pecking order, we are below Liverpool
You can't predict what their owners might do, I doubt it would be Coyle but yer never know, life would still go on and we could poach an up and coming manager from oh I dunno say a local rival below us in the pecking order?

Re: Do we need to worry?
I'm just remembering what Coyle said about working his way through the tiers gaining experience which is why somewhere like Villa is a bigger threat than Liverpool at the moment.
I know what you meant re Liverpool and Utd Dibble but should Coyle ever manage Liverpool and be successful I suspect a move to united would no longer be a step up.A successful Liverpool would be a big club on pretty much the same level as united.Someone successfully managing Liverpool would stay put or possibly if asked move on to one of the spanish giants.
Will be interesting to see how united deal with Fergie when he does retire. Somehow I think they'd want someone to come in and work alongside him gradually taking on more responsibility. I also think Fergie would still have is hand in beyond the point when he's supposed to have retired. Whatever the scenario it'll be a hard act to follow.
You can see Coyle if he continues to be successful managing united. He has all the qualifications in place except experience and high level success

You don't want to be the next manager after Taggart at Old Trafford.
Next but one is the dream job.
