Off the top of my head I can't think of any other bosmans we could get who are better than Elmander, so the least we can do is try to keep him, which we are going to.
s'alright - am sure we can have bob taylor back...

Danny Ward? Tom Eaves? I'm praying that at least one of them isn't far off now.

It would be fantastic if one of them could come through and contribute.

Am I right in saying that the rumour was that Nolan and Elmo didn't exactly see eye-to-eye?

If so, I'm all in favour of throwing that particular live grenade into the Toon dressing room...
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Wouldn't surprise me.I watched the Newcastle game again yesterday and I noticed that Nolan didn't miss an opportunity to have ago at Elmander. In addition to the body check, Nolan was the first to Elmander after he had been elbowed by Collocini and was giving him a load of verbal as he was on the floor. It looked to me that Elamander was a target in that game.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

That would be the really shite Nolan having a go at the even more shite Elmander?

Fcuk me, Sky Atlantic must be queueing up for that one.

I'm sure they could both do Bronx related Italian accents if their agent said they could.

He'd probably end up doing a Harlem accent. And then we'd be regaled about how he nearly got a Bronx accent, if only the fans had been on his side.

Elmander is not the present nor the future!! bin him off he won't suceed in the Prem.
Blinkers off for BWFCI! headless chickens also run a round a lot, if it gets tough, Mandy hides, yes I've seen that blinkers off! The bloke panics when left with the easier chances, strikers bread and butter, he hits a bit of form scores some brilliant goals, now he's an hero? still misses the bread and butter though, form dips brilliant goals fade, Mandy puts in a MIDFIELDERS SHIFT, not what we paid £8.5 mill + a shed load of wages for.
Can I just add for a bloke his size too he's a mard arse!
