Does the club need an anthem?

Maybe because we do? I mean if you voted 'not bothered' i can fully understand because your well..not bothered

but to say we don't need at least a consistent pre match/post goal song, not just jumping on the coat tails of what every other club is doing, we're not celtic..

Do you know what 'need' means? We've managed 134 (??) years without one. If the question had been 'would be all right if the club got an 'anthem'?' and one of the answers was 'I'm not really arsed but I wouldn't be against it' then I'd have voted for that. I know it is the season ended over a month ago, and there isn't much to talk about other than transfer speculation, new kits, songs and badges but given we are talking about stuff that isn't really important, and isn't really going to happen, a sign that folk realise this and the entire world hasn't gone mad would be nice. There's folk a few threads away discussing petitioning BWFC to change the fecking badge. Like, not only are they seriously discussing doing it, they apparently think there is the slightest chance in hell of it actually happening! I'm all for 'wouldn't this badge look good' [insert badge] "No, that's shit", "Yeah, that's amazing" style talk, but shirley all involved know it isn't changing?! They haven't even got a facebook page or dedicated twitter account!

I feel odd being the one living in the real world.

I don't think you really need to remind us, as Bolton fans, to lower our expectations! I realise it isn't likely to happen, i don't think people are that naive.

As an aside, I've just seen the last bit of the Scottish Cup Final. How come Celtic fans sing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'? Shouldn't they be singing something by Runrig or summat?
