From Coyle's enthusiasm, i sense he feels Pratley may be a key player and even a starter already.

But whats the alternative...

"Look Dazza was on a free and he wasn't actually asking for all that much. We'd have been mad not too. I mean he's probably not as good as Holden, and Muamba will come strong again but on the plus side he'll be a better bench warmer than Tamir was last season.

He does have the look of someone who's been inside a maximum security prison for the past few years, so we're hoping he'll give a few tips to young Marcos.

Overall we're kinda glad we signed him because we haven't managed to bring in any other fooker, and Phil and I have been getting increasingly threatening letters from some bloke called Lofthouse Lower.

On the plus side he worked with some fairly unproven and average manager, and Paulo Sousa. But I believe Gary Megson tried to sign him a couple of seasons back so there is a bit of a black mark there.

Anyways who wants an Irn Bru?"

It's NEVER sunny where BWFCi is. You ever seen one of those tiny cartoon clouds that follow characters around, just big enough to cover them but nobody else? Yeah. BWFCi's got one of those.

I was just making the point that he's always going to be positive and talk up any signing on the official site.

FWIW I think Pratley will be in the first team come the start of the campaign!

Woah woah woah, just read the article on the bwfc website:
Owen Coyle wrote:But out with all those attributes, he is hungry to do well. He had a sample of the top-flight with Fulham and now he wants to show that he is a Premier League player.
He didn't say Barclays Premier League.

I'm scared.

Not alot you can take away from that interview but i guess it's nice to hear a player being realistic for a change i.e 'Bolton was the best club for me, only real reason for leaving was due to contract talks (or lack of at swansea)'. Does my nut in when players give it the whole 'this club is my dream, best fans in the world couldn't play for anyone else' and kissing the badge bollocks then leave two year later!

holy shit, I missed this
I could have made more money at other clubs, but I liked the way Bolton play

In another words, a naughty side of me thinks that Stoke offered him a contract

I think you'll find they are the away training tops.

A bit like Ricky Sbagria was the home coach.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

young Dratley claims he is thrilled that he was a premier league player BEFORE he signed for Bolton..

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14022836.stm

hmmm...

bit of a flaw there though... his contract would have run out at Swansea before a ball had been kicked in anger... so - not so very sure you were sonny...
