I mean, I attempt more goals in my head whilst watching the Wanderers....
Perhaps if you scored a few we'd be in a better position.

Maybe we can just play Chelsea at ping pong this week and call it even.

"Must remain positive ... Must remain positive"

My inside voice keeps screaming that we are going to het tonked and I keep telling it to shut up. It ain't listening.

I think we're quite lucky that Torres isn't playing.... he'd bag a hat trick against us!

With all the talk of Torres' poor form, folk seem to have forgotten the old boy curse...

Aye
Assuming he plays I can see Sturridge's quick movement being too much for our beleaguered back line (they will trademark that soon)...He could hit double figures!

An here it is again....

That pesky pre-matchday hope. That little feeling that, despite our shocking run in the league, and against Chelsea in general, and against the 'bigger clubs', and against the bigger clubs this season especially, we might just snatch a point.

A last minute winner even!

Well, much like Arsenal, for me this game is all about the performance. Showing some mettle. I was pleased at half time at the Emirates; we were really competing, and could even have gone in ahead. If we can do that for 90 minutes against Chelsea I'll be quite content.

Its not 2008 anymore you know.

S'ont Grauniad now
Injury problems for Bolton ahead of their game against Chelsea on Sunday. Not only is Stuart Holden out due to knee surgery, Gael Kakuta is ineligible against his parent club, David Wheater and Ivan Klasnic are suspended, and Jussi Jaaskelainen is doubtful with a leg knock. Bolton have had a tough start, but the terrible run now puts an awful lot of pressure on them when they have 'winnable' games.
