I get the impression that it's quite the opposite. He seems a ruthless bastard and it seems like the players are completely disallusioned with him.coffeymagic wrote: Our manager wants to be everyone's best mate

That's what I meant. I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

It sounds like the same team and formation that played against City, Hope not though.boltonboris wrote:Muamba tweeting: "Nothing surprises me anymore"
Cryptic clues into another non-starting appearance? More centre backs in midfield? More central midfiels on the wing? More Pratley?

If it is and it doesn't work then it could get very ugly tomorrow, so far the fan's derison has been relatively tame but this could be a formation too far for most of usJokers in White wrote:It sounds like the same team and formation that played against City, Hope not though.boltonboris wrote:Muamba tweeting: "Nothing surprises me anymore"

Even more worryingly though I'd imagine wih a comment like that we may not see moo start again this season. On the bright side it may just be that moo is surprised that his number came out the bag for the lone striker role.Jokers in White wrote:It sounds like the same team and formation that played against City, Hope not though.boltonboris wrote:Muamba tweeting: "Nothing surprises me anymore"

Course coyle may be going back to 442 with Ream in midfield. Eitherway why am I less optimistic and even more apprehensive about coyles selections for this game than I was for the loss leader city game? We can actually win this one right?

Moo's tweet can be read in different ways, depends on the context. Was he replying to anyone? Generally speaking not a very positive-sounding tweet though. Infernal interwebs!

True perhaps he was answering a question about what he'd like for his birthday. However if its football related it can only sound like exasperation

If they lose this tomorrow they'll be a riot.

Re: QPR thread
Muamba's 11.47am tweet "nothing surprise [sic] me any more" was followed three minutes later by "This is my thought of the day" accompanied by a pic of a sign saying "You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have". I can't see any tweets sent to him to provoke that response. You can search: go to twitter.com and in the search box enter (in this case) @fmuamba.Armchair Wanderer wrote:Moo's tweet can be read in different ways, depends on the context. Now, while we're being paranoid, or didn't his self-description on Twitter used to include something about playing for us? 'cos it doesn't now...

It seems K. Davies might start if we go 4-4-2 which would be the start of the riot. Sordell should get the nod we need pace, the lad can't make an impression on the bench, well unless he punches Coyle in the face.

Aye sounds like no muamba (would prefer no tweeting from the lad though).
And to further compile the agony a half fit virtually useless stumpy kevin davies been welcomed back into the fold, whilst our top goalscorer remains in the cold, and if tuncay plays it will be on the fecking wing. I'll wait till I see it but I am expecting some serious "FCUK OFF COYLE"s tomorrow.

Re: QPR thread
Should be interesting, they matched us down at their gaff for the first 45 mins (until Cahill's goal). I thought we were probably second best. We did them good n proper in the second 45, but we didn't have the worlds weirdest formation and random selections that day.
I await with interest. There isn't really anything much Coyle could do that'll convince me he has a clue to be honest. A win would be great, but I'd probably put it down to "law of averages" anyhow. Bit like his team selection in general, occasionally the randomness of it is bound to work. Problem is, he'll tinker for the week after in the Cup, and then forget what occurred by the time we play our next league game.

Even worse, shopping booked (not by me) to arrive between 10 and 12, might not have time for a beer before KO.

Have to dig out hip flask...

Re: QPR thread
I think everyone on the fecking planet apart from Coyle knows this should be the side:
------------Bogs--------
Steino--Ream--Wheater--Ricketts
--------NRC---Muamba--------
Ryo--------MDavies------Petrov
-----------Ngog--------------
Barring a few like for like changes (i.e. Petrov's not everyone's cup of tea and maybe some would put Knight instead of Wheater), that HAS to be the side, but we all know it won't be.
Play that and we'll do these men.

Re: QPR thread
If we're losing tomorrow I really do think we'll hear the first of the "Coyle Out"s (Not that that'll help).
May the bridges I burn light your way
