Let's hope Vela can see as good a home debut as our last academy player.

Riley. Stoke. 5-0.

Don't spurs play 4-5-1 with RVV playing being Adebayor? How can we play 4-4-2 in that case? DOOMMMEEDD!!!

If you Take NRC out of there who in our midfield would you say is defensive? Just an inexperience Vela.

I suspect NRC and Eagles will be risked.

I suppose the only way they wouldn't be was if Owen decided West Brom was more winnable and to keep em back for then....

Quote from the article: 'Darren Pratley is struggling to shake off a virus.'

Just like he struggles to shake off his marker?

I like this part:
Darren Pratley, who is struggling to shake off a virus, is almost certainly out.

“It’s along the lines of a type of glandular fever,” said Coyle. “That’s not what it is, but it’s a viral thing that’s got to run its course. He’s got little or no chance of being available for Tottenham. He’s still weak and his game is all based on energy.”
Well, it's definitely not footballing ability is it.

Pff. That sounds like me trying to throw a sickie off of school as a kid: "*cough* Well mum it's kind of *cough* a bit tickly in my throat and I fell hot and, its kinda like a bit of a coldey-flu type thing? A kinda fever, ya know, like yellow fever...but not that *cough*, ya know? I think I probably need to stay off school today"

Pratley's bunking off.

We're clinging to a late fitness test to make NRC our defensive midfield saviour...oh dear. To be honest I wouldn't blame him if he tried Ream in that position again.

Pratley, with just three games left and a chance of Championship football if we went down, would surely want to play right now? We go down, so do his wages and prospects, no? As for Ream and bringing Knight back as CD against Spurs pace, please no.

In a recent interview Sam Ricketts pointed out that spurs have been on a bad run since they let in 5 in an FA cup semi final

He had a nightmare moment on the edge of our box when he had a shocker of a touch and one of their lads almost got in, but somehow he got a kind bounce and escaped. Other than that he had little to do, but played a couple of decent pressure relieveing passes. TO FEET!! Can you believe it?!

True, he does have the chance of Championship football so would probably want to do his best to help us achieve it. No, he's bunking off because he's scared of the big boys.

[N.B. Neither of these 2 posts were written in any seriousness. Oh, except the suggestion that Ream as DM isn't a ridiculous option. As DM mind, not part of a 4-4-2. If we have no NRC at least we can be sure Ream can tackle whereas Vela is largely an unknown quantity... course, we can barely manage enough midfielders to make a 4-5-1 at the mo, but anyway in general shortage of a DM it's sensible to consider Ream. Knight isn't nearly as God-awful as he's often made out to be. I'd rather he wasn't playing, but if needs must]

surely Boyata could play centre back and whoever is fit out of Steinsson Riley and Mears could play right back?
