interesting that wolves are in the relegation zone and Blackburn are only 6 points away from it.

i think our season will only get better aswell, as we have a good squad for a sprint finish and we're starting to see the toll of the season getting to a few of the teams around us.

i'd like to point out, before anyone picks me up for having the big dirty "H" word that im being purely pessimistic to the last

I think that's a good set of results for us.

Now we are 3 points off the play offs with 9 to play.

I'd have taken that position pretty much since week 7 or 8 of the season!

Games in hand are gone for the teams around us now and it is definitely on now! Down to the whites to keep on pushing now.

I think Brighton have got a harder run in than us too - Palace and Forest being the next two.

Think our main rivals are Leeds, Middlesborough, Forest and Leicester, if I had to pick last two pay off places now I would say any two from Us, Leeds and Middlesborough as on paper these three have easier run in.

But as we have seen two bad results can dump you out of the running, we have the new challenge of being one of the favourites for play off places that may be our biggest hurdle mentally. You can bet the whole squad is looking at results tonight and straight fter the games from now on.

Still not ready to jump on board that one just yet. A win this Saturday may change my view somewhat though.

Good results tonight! Getting a bit concerned over the holiday I have booked for the end of may  would miss the final :spank:

Win on Saturday and I think we are right in the chase for the play offs.

Pressure's coming on everybody now. Good time to prove we've made a real turnaround and capitalise on it. A win on Saturday and "the game's afoot, the chase is on", and a "No shxt Sherlock" before somebody else says it.

Read this in Adrian Durham's column in the Daily Mail (I know, I know...) Anyway despite the bloke being a massive tw@t on Talksh!te radio I'm hoping this is true and we can sneak another 1 nil.

There are different ways of surviving when you take charge of a club in trouble. Mick McCarthy takes defending to the extreme. I doubt Ipswich were going down anyway, but Mick has gone into Portman Road and wiped out any remote trace of decent football.
They’ve scored two goals in seven games and this team is stinking out the Championship. The philosophy that being totally anti-football is an acceptable way to go about your game doesn’t pay respect to the legacy of greats like Sir Bobby Robson and Sir Alf Ramsey who have graced Ipswich Town’s history. Is this all Mick McCarthy has in his repertoire?

Anybody that still thinks "we have left it to late" etc are kidding themselves. If we was 3 points off the top would you think we had left it to late to win the league?

I doff my cap to secret Wanderers fan and Barnsley keeper Luke Steele. Drops massive clanger in front of our fans 2 weeks ago to gift us 2 points, then denies Brighton 2 tonight with a penalty save. What a guy! Will send him a card and a box of Mint Matchmakers at the end of the season if we go up.

Sounds like he's just romantic about football :D
