The midfielder slots home past Turnbull with a piledriver from just inside the area! Fantastic strike! (90) 3-0 #BOLvDON
BWFC twitter seems to have got its football cliches a bit mixed up for the last goal. Not sure how you can slot home a piledriver.........

new look lineup... one defensive midfielder (though was pratley played further back?) - eagles and moritz and chungy feeding a new loanee striker...

sadly - like dawson did - mason will have to go back one day soon...

I was pardoning my own grammar when I saw it. I had not intention of changing it is all.

Moritz superb. Best individual performance from a Bolton player this season.

Be good to hear what the match-goers have to say. It actually sounded like they caused us no trouble at all and we were in complete control all game.

The difference was Moritz and Mason.

Moritz making things happen in the final third and Mason providing the much needed movement.

It really was a match that we dominated. Could have been 5 or 6. Well done lads!

Just back. Much better today and dominated right through.

All about Moritz and Mason today.

Big shout for Mills aswell. Been phenomenal this season IMO.

Good performance from the boys against a poor team. Not a criticism, we were pretty comfortable. First 10 or so nowt much happened, but when thry hit the post (it was a great save by Lonergan I think), we stepped it up.

The front 4 were all good. Eagles deserved his applause, Chungy played well, Mason's movement and skill on the ball were good, Moritz showed some clever skill.

Pratters worked hard, Spearing still isn't a patch on last season. Back 4 pretty solid, they didn't have many chances. Subs were probably about the right time too.

All in all, jolly good show. Having missed Tuesday's horror show due to work, I can only assume that this was much better?

The only thing I'd mention is I was still worried sh*tless at 2-0 for so long, thinking about what we'd do if they nicked one back.

Not as convinced that Moritz was MOTM, you could probably have made a decent case for Eagles, Chungy and Mason tbh.

Just back and agree pretty much with Worthy's summation. CYL MoM for me.

At 0-0 when they hit the post you could hear a few bumbles (1/2 boo, 1/2 grumble) and then Mason's hard work paid off and we were 1 in front. From that moment on we were in complete control.

On such incidents, are careers recovered. I'm hoping that was Dougie's 'Mark Robins/Adrian Heath moment'

Everything went through Moritz. Great pass for the first.. Scored the second. Created loads of chances for others to score. Definitely a big reason for the win.

Mason showed Beckford how to play the 1 man up top.

And we go via a tortuous torturous route up to 15th. While other teams above us continue to win we are virtually static. Let's hope this is a springboard for a long campaign of wins that will lift us faster. 8)

Anyone who thinks Moritz wasn't MOTM needs their eyes testing. He set one up, scored the second, created 2 or 3 good chances, delivered dangerous corners (why was Mills' header disallowed?) and was a constant threat everytime he got the ball in the final third - something we have missed all season.

Moritz was great. Just CYL was better for me today. Not much in it. Eyes are perfectly fine though - thank you.

Credit when it's due. Far from perfect but a HUGE improvement on all other games this season.

Doncaster were exceptionally poor, but you can only play who's in font of you. They started the match above us in the league so nothing was a given.

First and foremost a starting I which gave us a chance of showing some attacking intent. Only one of the Bobsey twins started in midfield. So they weren't tripping up over each other AND it gave the team a chance to offer some link between defence and attack in the name of Moritz. He played well and ensured the game flowed and the gap between defence and forwards was served adequately. He has a better footballing brain than anyone else on that pitch ... & by miles.

Eagles really put a shift in ... & he seemed way, way quicker than before. He runs like Billy Wizz ,,, whirling feet, head back. I liked the way Mason's shaped himself for receiving the ball ... he made himself available at all times and wanted the ball to feet and as it came he moved left and right and made the defender worry.

All in all, a decent performance and one which offers something going forward.

Oh ... & I found out today that I've sat next to NorPig off here for the past 5 years !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
