There's time yet, but now would be a good time. They are still interested in trying to pinch it and we need to get a grip and.......oooohhhh they have an effort just wide. Come on Whites. Fifteen to go. Another change mentioned as Morrison collars Mason again. Spearing, McN, Dannas and......oooohhhh was that a penalty? No, free kick right on the whitewash says the voice. And......it's going to be.....Moritz and Eagles over it and......it's headed clear.. Moritz took it but not well.

Eagles, Moritz and leathered away. Ream advances, then Mills. Beckford arrives for Mason. Come on you Whites, get one in....

Re: Another home win or will Dougie look A-Ddick?
Ream sets us off but it ends back with Lonnergan. Now Eagles, Spearing, McN and.....goalkick.
Has Beckford had any Weetabix? Mark Davies gives away a free kick. Minutes ticking and commentators not impressed by the Whites as Mills's rogue arms cause a bit of a flutter. Can we do it? They send a defender on and....Eagles, Baptiste, Mills, Ream, Moritz, Ream and.....Charlton clear. Bad touch from Danns spoiled that one. COME ON YOU WHITES.......

Now's the time....and its Lonnergan who has the action. One final session, Danns ....? Hall on for him. Beckford heads it out for a throw...no, that the defenders job lad....We're on the minutes and we were in the first half, so.....Beckford wins a corner after having a go. And here we go.....and.....cleared off the line...Hall and.....nothing. That was a chance situation as 14,912 and three hotdogs announced. Now they decide on a cheeky visit and....Mark Davies wins a free kick as they make a last sub and four minutes are announced. Stewart off for.....??? And.....Halll and....a corner as the crowd make a noise and.....another corner from Ream's attempt and Mills, heads it wide. "Fans streaming out" says the man as we win a throw. Come on Whites......Davies....cleared....another throw and.....Hall and.....Mills and....McN and......in and Hall get booked for a foul. Not our best day then. We've spent the six million, we have the technology and......we win a very, very. last corner and....oooohhhh, inches wide from Spearing.

How was it really AG? Should we have won or was it as bad as it sounded in places? This giving what sounds like a soft goal away is becoming really depressing. Tell it like it was.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Just back.....I'm cold, I'm hungry, I'm pissed off........

Re: Another home win or will Dougie look A-Ddick?
On balance we were far more likely winners and dominated the 2nd half, and have played worse at home this season. However the football was scrappy and uninspired and there is nothing to excuse another failure to beat a poor, struggling side like that.
They were gifted a goal, and could have had more in an appalling first half hour display, similar to the one last week. They are learning nothing week to week and after taking a huge step back from last season, are just plateauing at a worse than mediocre level. There are enough poor teams to keep us out of the bottom 3 but if that is enough to keep Freedman in a job then the board has given up.
Best players today were not ours - Danns and McNaughton. Our captain had another awful game (kryptonite armband?) and I don't even want to think about Eagles' pathetic attempt at a challenge leading to their goal.
Lonerghan played well and made one fantastic save from what I thought was a certain goal. If DF drops him a for a fit-again Boggers that's a sackable offence on its own in my eyes.
The defensive fragility has returned though, and the attacking toothlessness remains. Bad times.

We're a Jekyll and Hyde team.......we were poor in the first half but better in the second.TANGODANCER wrote:How was it really AG? Should we have won or was it as bad as it sounded in places? We had more chances than them, but don't/can't take them.
Awful defending for their goal.
