Moritz breaks and....Dans shoots wide as Pratley appears on the line. Eagles goes again and.....Pratley and....
poor, but we get a throw. And Ream robs Fuller and nine mins announced. We have a dab but Ince comes forward before Eagles hasa bit of hard luck. Commentator full of praise for him, but Ince has another dash and Lonergan has to make another great save.

Red faces all round from Stelling and the boys on SSN. We never scored, CYL reported as scoring but it was from the ball that struck the post :conf:

Eagles again, now Baptiste and...cleared back to Baptiste, who loses it. Careful lads, keep it tight and keep trying for that third goal. Lonergan has to make another cracking save as the Tangies throw the sink at us. Lonergan really getting the praise. Now we have a sally and N'gog gets the plaudits as he wins a corner. Eagles getting the big applause as Hall replaces him.

No, it's Vela who's come on for Eagles and he figures right off. N'gog getting more praise. Now Chungy, Dans, Vela, now Dans gives away a free kick. Almost there and.....they attack in numbers as the comentator talks about equalisers. Four minutes announced as the Whites go and.....oh....N'gog and Dans can't quite figure anything, then N'gog again. He's like a man re-born today. All about hanging it steady now and.....Ream clears, Chungy, throw, and a long attempt from the Tangies sails over. And its.......a win and 2-1 to us. :oyea:

How was Vela's running ?

Nice to win. Sounds kike it was exciting enough AND an attacking formation and style.

You see Dougie, you CAN do it !!

Well that was a nice win. Could do with a cup run to inspire confidence and bring some excitement.

NGog played well, very well. Medo played well. Lonergan made some great saves. Blackpool are a very poor side but we still made them look like world beaters at times.

Don't like the system. They completely overran the midfield second half until Pratley and Vela came on.

Eagle was a passenger. Moritz was equally ineffective. Beckford scored and did nothing else.

I can see why we play 4-5-1. A half decent side would waltz through us otherwise.

But the win was very welcome. Hopefully a good draw tomorrow.

Well, I know I wasn't a the game, but the commentators were and they surely didn't agree with much of that?
Just the opposite in fact with most of it. Eagles got an ovation didn't he, and Moritz sounded tobe involved in everything?

Aye, got to agree with TD here. Commentators made a point over and over again of saying that we totally outplayed them for about 50/55 mins of that game with the system and when we reverted back to type (451) we lost the attacking impetus and were lucky to get away with it.

Great, great game that. Love this competition and hate those orange wankers.

Some of the most disgraceful refereeing ever witnessed too.

I was there and eagles played very well , his ovation suggests he was anything but a passenger , moritz also looked menacing despite being slightly isolated on the wing.
We'd lost impetus before the switch. In formation, let them off the hook a bit.
Lined up for goal kicks standrd 442 but eagles was quite afvanced as we were so much on top. Would never have said it was 433 though, he stayed left.
Deserved the win but made it difficult, ream had a tough 2nd half but stuck at it, a few panicky clearances from others but some excellent goalkeeping from lonners. An enjoyable match.
