Extra time and pens, like at Gigg Lane when Owen saved us late on and Branagan pulled off a wonder save in the shootout. Must've been mid 90s, other details elude me.
Anyway time to wander down there, probably get pissed wet through, but return with a spring in my step after a 1 nil shootout win, with Wilkinson the only scorer.

I for one, hope those top boys from burys firm won't be appearing like they 'showed' on BBC 3 last night.

LINE-UPS: Conor Wilkinson starts for Wanderers tonight, with Adam Bogdan replacing Andrew Lonergan in goal.
Bolton: Bogdan, Threlkeld, Dervite, Wheater, Ream, Pratley, Trotter, Feeney, Hall, Beckford, Wilkinson
Subs: Lonergan, White, Spearing, C Davies, Lee, Clough, Danns

That's a pretty "strong" line up for a match against a league 2 side.

Almost first team status.
In a way I'd really quite like to have seen a strong development squad contingent.

If it's almost first team status then Saturday's lot must be the second string.

He's made 9 changes tonight and the other 2 who started at Watford have been shifted positionally. I'd have thought it made more sense to try the rest of the first team squad in the second game of the season before introducing lesser lights. That said, this lot might not be good enough either.

I'm not. I'm unable to go to night matches due to issues with trains and getting home. Listening to it all unfold on Radio Manchester with Supa John. We're just fecking useless, I'm usually a positive guy but Dooglas has to go
