Sorry. I did mean at a pub close to the station. Might have been better had I stated that intention!

The Oddfellows practically across the road from the ground, is away friendly apparently! Sounds appropriate, if only for the name!

I've had a look online. It looks ok for food, disappointing for real ale, fine for lager and wine. Not a bad shout! If the ground is close enough.Bruce Rioja wrote:See you there, Dan.bwfcdan94 wrote:Given I have only ever in my entire life been to Watford once I am not claiming to be an expert, I just know of a good pub that I suggested we meet at. Parking should be fine, it's 1 mile walk from the ground.William the White wrote:Really?Bruce Rioja wrote:Looking at the timings of this today, Will, and it's going to be very difficult, unless they'll take us for lunch at about 11:30William the White wrote:I'm less concerned with that - are we doing lunch at the Cock or Bull this trip?Bruce Rioja wrote:
Daniel. This is your moment. Don't feck it up. What is the name of the pub where everyone should meet, regardless as to how they're getting there. The best meeting place.
Managed it for the Cup Game - though, true, that didn't involve a pre match TW meet up.
Anyway, I reckon Dan's suggestion is as good as any if there's parking and it's near the ground.

It was rather harsh. Sorry, Dan. I'll buy you a fizzy pop on the 9th. (Or a can of cold soup)thebish wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:You stupid c*nt. No-one asked about the cheapest place. So it's sorted is it?
What time does the Happy Hour commence, bearing in mind a one mile walk to the ground and at least one of us is a pensioner with a heart condition?

The ticket site will only let me buy one ticket as I only have one client reference number!
I haven't had this issue before... Anybody else seen this?

No idea if this has been covered in this thread so far or not, but we're doomed. That fast lad, Lloyd Dyer, who tormented us in Leicester's colours for the past however many years in the Championship signed for Watford on a bosman last month. hahaha. ha. haaaaaaa. crap.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

If you all would rather meet somewhere more central then that's not a problem by me, I don't mind where we go, as I said I was just making a suggestion. The Happy hour is just over half a mile walk from Bushey, a mile from the ground and Watford high street station, but almost 2 miles from Watford Junction station.Burnden Paddock wrote:The Oddfellows practically across the road from the ground, is away friendly apparently!
