Charlton equalise. McDons equalise.

Turn the floodlights off on the way out. Oh and shut that f*cking stable door.

First time Burnley have done the double over us since 1984/85. That years team were a bag of shite and mentally weak as piss too. Route to Accrington anyone?

Via Bristol, Preston and Rotherham, if you're Nicky Hunt.

Grey scores a class goal and here we go again. How many times is this going to happen? A Spearing slip up and we're behind again. We just have to put our chances away. Clough missed a clear one apparentley and.....and.....Madine fouls a Claret and they get a free. Grey has been sounding dangerous all game despite our pressure and Charlton equalise. We win a free kick as Barton throws a wobbler. And.....and....and.....ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Feeney forces a great save off them. Spearing goes, Silva arrives. Come on. Corner...Feeney and...Dobbie volleys one over the top. Can you believe we can play this well and still lose? Four mins added......and.....a throw us. We're still playing well says mic man. Vela...Deryk Feeney and.......ohhhhhhhhhh they scramble it away. We go again. Throw us......Silva....and Barton gets away with a booking and the Clarets bring on a defender. And now.......Dobbie and.......Dobbie and....cleared. Now back from Rachubja. And....they head clear, mOXEY, Silva and.......we play brilliantly and lose.....Dons go behind and....we lose 2-1.

The depressing thing is how we're actually playing well against these teams which should be beating us, but then we keep throwing it away.

We'd be ok if the players could concentrate until the final whistle.

It's Spearing this week and god knows who next week.

They’ve won 8 games by one goal (a total topped only by Ipswich’s 9, PNE’s 10 and Brighton’s astonishing 14), and 13 by one or two goals (topped only by Brighton’s 14 - the Seagulls haven’t beaten *anybody* by two – plus Boro’s 14 and Hull’s 15).
They win by a single goal. And I'm sure you've pointed out we lose by narrow margins. Foregone conclusion really.

We played very well. Feeney was outstanding. A goalscorer the diffeence.

But Lennon absolutely has to go immediately. Terrible decisions once again and to me his body language is of someone just waiting for the axe to fall. Absolute fraud of a manager.

It sounds the performance was there today tbf. We won't play champions in waiting every week from now on, and when you have a (how much was it?) 9 million quid striker you're going to score goals. No one expected to get anything today, so lets hope we can produce the same level of performance from here on in.

Neil Says....
On the team’s performance…
I can’t be critical of the team because I thought that they were excellent today. It’s a collective effort and I feel for them today because they didn’t deserve to be on the losing side. We’re not far away from being a decent team, but at times we just lack a little bit of quality in certain areas.

On the result…
We feel that an individual mistake has cost us once again. I would have been disappointed with a draw, never mind losing the game. It’s tough to take at the moment. Every defeat hurts.

On the opening Bolton goal…
I’ve been saying for some time that we have to capitalise when we are in the ascendancy. We did that today.

On Burnley’s goals…
We knew that they had quality in the final third and that they could score at any time. When they equalised the game was still there for us at 1-1. Andre Gray got a bit of luck after a superb save from Paul Rachubka. Even if we had taken a point then so be it, but it is the manner of their second goal which is disappointing. We lost the ball in a bad area under no pressure and we’ve been punished.

On Liam Feeney’s performance…
I thought he was great. It we had more players like him we’d certainly be a lot higher up the league table. He does come in for a bit of stick now and again, but he gives it his all every week and always has the highest individual stats after games. He’s rarely injured, applies himself well in training and is a model professional. He can be pleased with his contribution.

On the central defensive pairing of Rob Holding and Derik Osede…
We knew going into the game that we would be a little bit lightweight in that area. In Holding we’ve got a very good player and Derik will continue to improve. It is his first season in English football and he is beginning to look more and more like himself.

On the atmosphere inside Macron Stadium…
I thought it was brilliant during what was a great game typical of this division. We were on the frontfoot and had a real go - I think that the fans appreciated that.

I am to say the least, gutted. We played really well, the best I've seen them play for a while, BUT what on earth is he thinking putting Heskey up front until mid second half? He was buggered about 5 minutes into the 1st half! The lad can't move...if we had a striker today we would've murdered them, we outplayed them at times, but if you can't put your chances away you will get punished and that's what happened. They had about 3 chances and put two of them away. I must say most of our lads had their head in their hands at the end, they gave it their all.I will just say though that Lennon is useless with his substitutions, useless....
