Probably.
Rochdale treating this as their cup final and raising their game?
Got to expect this from every team.

If we can't raise our game then we don't deserve to score let alone win.

This really is not good. I'm losing heart, but just hoping it's because of injuries. It must be mustn't it? :(

He's going to be pretty fecking unpopular pretty fecking fast at this rate.

No-one likes a team who cant score goals.

We've got a bigger budget than most if not all of this league.

He was allowed to sign plenty of players. They all look shite. We've got so shit so quickly. Really fecking pissed off with this, must win saturday.

Curse of manager of the month. Not won in September. Can only hope this is a blip and they figure out what's going wrong and quick.
Pfffft.

So I'm not blaming Parkinson because he's had to rebuild the squad with no money and what quality we do have has been lost to injuries but...

but...

This is a team that looks like it could take us all the way to League 2 without breaking a sweat.

The budget is a red herring. We've hardly had luxury in terms of who we sign and when.It does have to improve though.
I wonder if the 5 deadline day signings disrupted the spirit in what was a tight knit squad? Who knows.

I genuinely think lack of options is hurting us. Too many not up to the effort needed three games a week and looking tired.

Rochdale are a hard working side. I don't think we are. Who busts a gut trying to get in the box? We may not have a striker, but the least we can do is work as a team and I'm afraid we're not doing that

There is no way we are not operating on a budget higher thab rochdale (or rotherham :lol). We've let playeds go who have suddenly become better options than we have.

I think he's fecked up with Keshi Anderson. We need a goalscorer at this level, James Vaughan for example. Instead we have a complete fecking lump in Procter who is like a shit Gary Madine! And Gary Madine! Clough, Anderson, Proctef, Madine. 3 of them with a genuine goalscorer. Infact Wilkinson, Madine, Clough and a goalscorer. Could of saved on the lump and anderson there. Carry on like this and he wont last until January to sort it. And I'm not one for hyperbole!

Meanwhle, the reality is....we just lost to a small club like Rochdale who it seems are up to the effort needed, and we just can't score goals. Oh, I've no idea what the answer is, but the reality remains.

I'm really dissappinted in Henry but I do think he'll come good. Ameobi and Anderson though...

I think too many fans expect too much considering what this club has been through. A good start got every fan believing their club can get promoted at the first attempt. Those who went to Rochdale tonight deserve a refund.
Until someone who knows where the goal posts are Bolton are going no where.

Problem parky has is managers in his mould, when things arent going for you, your teams look utter dogshit.

No goals against 10 man walsall, bradford or rochdale. Its fecking gash.

The other problem parky has is bad runs at this level immediately become the worst rund a lot of our fanbase (me included) have ever seen. You can stick losing to premiership/champ teams, but fck me if it comes to it and we get done by Bury he's out on his arse very quickly.

Big test of him now this. As someone has already said he's into 'must win' territory very quickly here.

Need some stability, not knee jerk reactions. People forget where we've come from. As I've said before mid table is a good result this season considering. I still said that after 4 games and I maintain it now.

There was and is a very real chance we could be sucked right down. We must prevent that.

I'm not advocating knee jerk reactions for the record. But I do think its harder for managers who promote a more, long ball style i guess, to ride out winless runs. Gary Megson v Owen Coyle i guess.

What worries me the most is he has attacking players, he's signed em, and yet he's loaned out wilkinson who is now scoring for fun and our lot look fecking clueless!

I dont know what a good result is for this season. I suspect most managers in this league would swap squads albeit they might mot fancy the wages of some of our poorer value players.
