South of the border. A trip away to Stevenage, Tues 29th Oct, 19-45.

Harsh on Southwood that booking. Don't think we've been overly guilty of taking time with our goal kicks. Seen more guilty instances in the league.

Last man foul on Charles there denying a goalscoring opportunity and only a yellow?

Sounds about right with this ref.

Charles is pretty effective against tiring defenders…

There it is!
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

Great ball from JDC and lovely finish by Charles.

I'm sure someone on the forum said it'd be just a Bolton thing to have a low scoring game against the leaky Peterborough and then a high scoring game against the solid Stevenage defence, and so it happens.

Get in there
Poor keeping but this is looking like a good win against a decent team here.

I'm very much getting the feeling that this is a case of not getting the benefit of the doubt as far as the referee goes today. Seems like any 50/50 goes in there favour

Dion Charles... some lovely work chasing lost causes there and getting us an advantage. Love it.

This referee is a joke.

I'm not much will be made of it as we're 4-1 up but to see a player get fouled 2 foot in front and do nothing is a disgrace.

Tonight’s the first time I’ve seen him and thought he’s actually done a decent job. Came on when we were under a bit of pressure, but showed for the ball, and generally held on to it quite well. Nothing outstanding, but I think he helped settle things down a bit.
