Onouha?
Yes yes and thrice yes. Nay a million billion times yes. With cherries on.
As long as theres a decent cash component and we can afford the other players.
I've had a couple of glasses. I feel a Caps like bout of christmas posts coming on.
I have a bad feeling i'll wake up in the morning and it won't happen. We can dream.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Calm down dear. We've been here before with cash plus player deals.
Every transfer window.
They don't happen

Well quite, though I can well believe we're trying to make this happen, but there is a lot in a deal like this that can go wrong.hisroyalgingerness wrote:Calm down dear. We've been here before with cash plus player deals.

Onouha not wanting to come here, and wanting to go to Sunderland, not agreeing terms, Cahill not wanting City and preferring to wait for Arsenal etc....
Complex.

Can't see Boyata AND Onouha both being part of it, as has been said that sort of swap just doesnt happen, you're asking for too many things to fall into place in one package...we know how hard it is to do a simple one player cash transfer and what's involved in that!
But anyway at least we're being sensible and trying. We've got a player they want, they've got a player we want, we'll talk business.

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
I'd take either, although i doubt a swap deal will happen unless Arsenal/Man City get into some sort of bidding war. Aren't Man City also wanting to get rid of a fair few of the fringe players to help with the wage bill once the fair play regulations come into effect?
Anyway, i'd love Onuohua at the club just for THAT goal against Chelsea earlier in the season and Boyata..looked solid last Sunday at the 'Bok and also for chants like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAvChkfpY4A" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Anyways....its started.
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
All we need is to get City to agree to paying half their wages for the remainder of their contracts whilst at Bolton and all will be happy.

I doubt they are on that much, plus City want to get rid of the fringe players and don't want anyone like Spurs, liverpool, etc taking any. Onouha would be signed whilist boyata would be on a 12 month loan deal. I've also reckon the cash figure will be around 6-8 million, perhaps even less. As much as i would love this deal i would not want to see G Cahill in a SHitty City shirt!!
Pratley would be a good signing and has not been included in the squad cause he fell out with the manager, yet whenever he comes on as sub he scores for them, and he hit a beltter in the play off game from the half way line.

Nedum and Dedryk, sounds like a Peter/Dudley sketch

Would love them both at the 'Bok

i couldnt give a fudge where he goes as long as we get a good deal for him. One permanent plus one on loan would make sense, as Boyata is bound to think he has a future at City, whereas i think the Onohua probably knows he's on the outs.mighty_whites wrote:I doubt they are on that much, plus City want to get rid of the fringe players and don't want anyone like Spurs, liverpool, etc taking any. I don't think Boyata will be a loan, he's a fringe player at best for Citehohjimmyjimmy wrote:i couldnt give a fudge where he goes as long as we get a good deal for him. City want to keep him as they see him as a great prospect. He'll be a loan if at all.TKIZ! wrote:I don't think Boyata will be a loan, he's a fringe player at best for Citehohjimmyjimmy wrote:i couldnt give a fudge where he goes as long as we get a good deal for him. Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Boyata will be a loan because City will do the same as they did with onouha too sunderland, if he turns out to be mint they'll want him back otherwise just sell him to us next year. This may benefit us as we won't have to pay his full wage packet.
City are going to be like chelsea and you won't seen a youngster come through their ranks till they lose the arabs, chelsea haven't had a youngster for 8 year until this josh mcaharen come through this year.
Think we should utilise vela, eaves, ward and maybe topi odabeyi if they can cut it this season as 3 of them will not have to be classed in our 25 man squad.

Not sure if City are into developing talent. They seem to buy players, especially if high profile, give em a shot then move on to the next target.
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Agreed, they can go out and buy high-profile players. Possibly like Alonso insert into Boyata contract that they don't have to pay too much to buy him back if he's amazing?seanworth wrote:Not sure if City are into developing talent. From what I've heard they are keen to develop their own players as well as buying the best. Which is sensible. They've already talked about Boyata in terms of him being one of the best prospects they've ever had.TKIZ! wrote:Agreed, they can go out and buy high-profile players. He'll be a loan if it happens and that will be fine.

Happy with Pratley on a free. Happy with idea of Onuoha and Boyata (on loan); also happy for those deals to be separate, if need be. Happy with Cahill to City, far less knobbish than other options (although they're coming up on the rails) and Cahill wouldn't have to move and would still be close to his Sheffield roots. I'll wager it's easier to be a centre-back at Citeh than Arsenal. Just hope we get an undisclosed but large amount of cash in pocket.
Look who Barton's agent is... seems he wants a four-year deal, which would be along one for us, we usually get incomings on two-or three-year deals then upgrade the successful ones. Barton, though, has proven himself - both on and, sadly, off the pitch... Has he changed? I hope so, for society's sake...

"We had talks in January - Joey was prepared to take a drop in wages and we couldn't get anywhere," Barton's agent Willie McKay told BBC Newcastle. "I had a meeting this morning with [managing director] Derek [Llambias] and [football secretary] Lee [Charnley] and there was no offer on the table. I've no idea what their thoughts were on the situation, they knew he was going to take less money. He's 28, which is a funny age, he needed a four-year contract which would see him through his best years. He was happy with four years and less money. He'll probably just run his contract out [at Newcastle], but we need to look for something for Joey in January, and that's where we are. He wants to play as well as he can for Newcastle this year, and get the club where they belong which is top five."
