I do like the idea of a tactical nativity and I'm sure a new born messiah would have as much tactical nouse as coyle. It's funny how the fact we now have to win at stoke is being touted as an advantage.Doesnt that just mean coyle will be even keener to chase the game and we all know how good this team is at chasing a game.
In the unlikely scenario that we do stay up are people really looking forward to another year at the bottom of the prem. I have a feeling the teams coming up from the championship will do ok which leaves only wigan near our level. QPR and Villa will invest more than we can over the summer and the rest are already well ahead of where we are.I'm not sure i to watch us floundering about in the premiership with captain clueless making wild selections and doing his performing seal act on the sidelines.

He should go back to a more appropriate occupation. Cheerleader or mascot or maybe he could switch careers and be coach driver on the Sunshine Happy Bus.They could even supply a uniform and a badge so he isnt mistaken for a resident.

Should Holden and CYL stay on would that really be enough to lift what we have left to the necessary level? I'm not sure the quality of what is around them is as good as it was for that long past month when a purple patch was hit.

From the latest post-match it almost sounded like the players weren't doing what he was telling them.

Anyone watching the Wigan/Blackburn game tonight?

Yes, if we win at Stoke which we must, it would take Blackburn out the picture anyhow. So we want a Blackburn win tonight.

I know a Blackburn win would put pressure back on Wigan but I can't see Wolves beating Wigan to relegate them, is it not better that Blackburn are just dead and buried ?

It makes no odds, unless you value the 500k difference between finishing 18th and 19th. Blackburn can't finish above us unless we fail to beat Stoke, in which case we'd be relegated anyway.

The more teams shitting it on the last day the merrier for me. Wolves are in (relatively) a decent run of form.

nahh - cos we still need to beat stoke - and if we do - then b'burn couldn't overtake us... if we don't beat stoke - then we're down anyway..

so - b'burn beating wigan just gives as a possible escape hatch should we beat stoke and QPR get summat at Citeh....

(I need a lie-down now!)

Since it's relevant, First Row have a alink for the Wigan/Blackburn game at 8-0'clock.: Wouldn't bother putting it up till about 5 mins before
