Pratley still on? No actual quotes. But good business for me. Decent player in problem position for free. We need a few frees, a couple of loans and one or two big buys. Because that's all we can afford.

Midfield: Muamba, Holden, Davies, Davis, Pratley (can all play a bit) > Elmander, Gardner, Cohen, McCann, JOB (injured, slow or out of position) = progress (a comfortable disease).
What could've happened; did.

peterborough accept an offer from an unnamed premier league club for Craig Mackail-Smith

Is it us? Probably not. But you know, RUMOUR. Fwiw not sure I would want him here. My extensive scouting of him (saw one game this year, away at Fulham in 3rd round of t'cup) he seemed to do a lot of running without doing much against a premier league defence.

Sounds like he'd slot right into our setup no problems then.

Pratley looking likely now, and an interesting note is that Chelsea look like they're closing in on Lukaku. Could be the catalyst for us bringing Sturridge back.

Watched him in the play off final, seemingly misses a lot of chances, so must have had a lot to score 35 this season. Can't see him getting so many chances in the premiership.

Bolton Linked With Portugese Striker
Another striker on Bolton’s radar is Vitoria Guimares’ Tiago Targino.

The 24-year-old Portugese striker is under contract to Guimares to 2013 and the club will be looking for a sizeable fee for someone described as one of their most saleable assets.

“It would be a dream for me to play in the Premier League,” said Targino who says he hopes a deal can be finalised in the near future.

However, Targino’s goalscoring record is modest. He scored just three times in 13 appearances this season after hitting the net just twice in 16 games in 2009/10.
