IMHO hes worse, football is all about opinions and I haven't seen Mears do anything of any worth. Ok Knight makes the odd (ok more than odd) cock up, but he occasionally gets us out of the shit, Mears on the other hand is normally in the other half of the park slowly jogging back without a care in the world, at least Knight looks like he give a toss !

I fear if Mears if played as a wing back we'll get torn to bits down the right hand side.

He's the best RB we've got. We concede less goals down his side when he plays than any other area. He's much better than Ricketts.

feck me, we gave legendary status to a guy based on his work rate but shit goal return.

Just a shame for David that whilst he's been with us, he was playing under a complete duffer. He was looking better under Douglas and was for a while, one of our best players.

Where never gonna have 2-3 strikers who bang in 10 - 15 plus goals a season

If reports are to be believed then Dougie is after a striker or two (could mean Ngog is on his way) IMO i'd rather sell Sordell

Ngog does't score alot, but he does bring other attributes to the team

The others don't score and don't contribute anything else.. Started to run out of patience with Sordell towards the end of the season, but I think with a full pre-season, he could come good. yes - I can see this argument... but does that mean we have to play 4-4-2 all the time? or do we put Ngog out wide or drop him back into the midfield... what then of Eagles/chungy/mavis?

I do think Eaves will get a fair few games this season. So Eaves, Sordell, Ngog, Cravies and "possibly" 2 more, one's surely has to go? Maybe even two!

We don't need to play the same starting 11 or formation for every match. And we do tend to have lots of injuries at times!!!
