Danns is perfect for this league and I would have him over the majority of our "grafting" midfield whilst we are in this league. He never stops working for the team and chips in with the odd goal.LeverEnd wrote:Yes you're right. I'll be sorry to see him go but given the constraints we seem to have there's no point signing another midfielder, even if we shift one.officer_dibble wrote:Surely its pointless signing danns now with vela and mark davies back? He's not that good.
We're desperate for a left back. I'd have given kellet a shot before now.

I agree too and would love to see him stay, but not at the expense of strengthening the attack or defence. Not much point adding another midfielder when we've got Clinton out of position at left back and no-one else for that position.plymouth wanderer wrote:ChrisC wrote:Danns is perfect for this league and I would have him over the majority of our "grafting" midfield whilst we are in this league. If we can loan Vela and shift Pratley then maybe.

I'd have no issue signing danns
If we didnt have moritz, eagles, mark davies, pratley already
We'll swap him for someone like pratley or eagles in the summer i am sure

I have an ITK at Arsenal who says Jack still talks about us in gushing terms. Not enough to come back like, but it's not a one way thing.

Moyes open to idea of loaning Zaha... not specifically to us, but hey - we're local and harmless...

Newcastle winning the race to loan Zaha according to my phone.
Although to be fair, my phone is a habitual liar so I'd suggest caution before quoting it.

He needs to go to a Prem club really, can't see him dropping back down again. Even if Dougie-san is his Mr Miyagi.CrazyHorse wrote:Newcastle winning the race to loan Zaha according to my phone.

According to the unnamed one, N'Gog is not keen on a move to Turkey and may just sit it out until the summer.
I didn't think we would be that lucky to get rid of him for a fee. Oh well.

x2. Never gives up running. I think he's perfect for this level of football. He obviously likes it here. Sign him upplymouth wanderer wrote:ChrisC wrote:Danns is perfect for this league and I would have him over the majority of our "grafting" midfield whilst we are in this league. He wants to return to Feance. Most French clubs are broke.
Unless one comes in in January then we're stuck with him.

Manager players down potential transfer talks with Turkish Bursaspor over David Ngog
Dougie Freedman has revealed that the club have not received any concrete offers for striker David Ngog.
The Frenchman was linked with a move to Turkish side Bursaspor earlier in the week.
But speaking in his pre-match press conference the manager moved to play down the reports.
“There’s always going to be speculation when players are out of the team,” Freedman said. “We’ve had no official offers, but we have had two enquiries.
“I have explained to David that he finds himself out of the team because he is out of form.
“David is a good player and he has a part to play, but right now he has lost his form and is out of the team. He has to accept that and do something about it.
“Naturally, some players move on and some players dig deep – David will decide what he wants to do.
“We feel David has got to make that decision. Does he want to fight for his place or does he want to move on?”

See with that attitude he's no chance of making a late bid to help France navigate their way through the World Cup Group of Dearth.TKIZ! wrote:He's not even sat on the bench
Not much point waiting for a call from the Cameroon FA either.

Can't fault Coyle for signing Marvin. He was young & talented and with a genuinely exciting future ahead of him. He was exactly the sort of player we needed and should have been looking to sign.
What Coyle should be shot for is doing whatever he did to Marvin that broke him. He wasted our money and probably ruined the kid's career. The useless sack of shite.
