Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
I'd just like to point out that despite my sponsors' (and I would like to personally thank Enoch in this capacity) efforts, we have failed miserably to reach the required 100 pages that constitutes SUCCESS within the Transfer Thread Community. This was, unfortunately, expected. We will never darken your doorway again.
Never, in the fight for supremacy, have so few fxcked off so many so often, in the immortal words of Owen Randolph Coyle-Churchill.

I think you should hang your head in shame but Plymouth's Transfer Thread lasted from April until December or 8 months.
Your crap thread hasn't even been going 8 weeks. Plenty of time yet to reach 100 pages. After all we still have 29 players that we can get rid of in the loan window.

Ahhh the Loan Window... Are we allowed to loan, are we allowed to borrow? This ffp ban is obscure to me.malcd1 wrote:I think you should hang your head in shame but Plymouth's Transfer Thread lasted from April until December or 8 months.

Forest can loan in players. So can Cardiff. But I don't know whether the same applies in our case.
Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
Don't think we can loan at the moment, but we can sure post some bollocks for the next four weeks.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Ahhh the Loan Window... Are we allowed to loan, are we allowed to borrow? This ffp ban is obscure to me.

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
How about, talking shite about other teams transfers and loans? We could aim for 100 pages in memory of spotty,s stupendously sub standard thread!

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
I'm not particularly reliably informed the next loan window runs from 9th February to 24th March.
We may not be able to bring any in, but there's still the danger some of our jewels might be prised away.
Imagine the hole that would be left if a club came in and nicked Pratley, or worse, Trotter!

Maybe we could pretend they've been loaned out and just play the holes instead.Enoch wrote:I'm not particularly reliably informed the next loan window runs from 9th February to 24th March.

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
Loan fee notwithstanding, there isn't the financial benefit of selling players. True, it would get a (portion of a) wage off the bill, temporarily at least, but how much do we still need to do that?Enoch wrote:I'm not particularly reliably informed the next loan window runs from 9th February to 24th March.

I might be tempted into believing a deal could be done for Mark Davies if a Championship team genuinely thought he could be the difference, and we wanted to cut his wage for 93 days. The Championship regular season ends on May 7 (which is 93 days from tomorrow), the PO final is on May 28 (ie 93 days from Feb 25th).

I can confirm that Samizadeh is still a BWFC player. I spotted him on the tram from Chorlton to Cornbrook coming home from work tonight.plymouth wanderer wrote:fingers crossed! chuck him in the team IMO! gotta be better than watching Heskey prancing around
He had a Wanderers training top on and said 'hello' as he spotted I had my Wanderers '84' tracksuit top and scarf on

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
BN: We turned down a Reading bid for Holding on deadline day. Lennon:
We did lose Prince, Pisano and Casado but thankfully we kept hold of our main players. We had a bid come in for Rob Holding, which was turned down, so that gives us something to hold on to and build on. You saw against Wolves what their quality is once they put their minds to it. Now they have to be consistent. There’s a big game at the weekend and if we build on that performance we’re right in there again.
