Well done on your win against Brum and getting Stoke in the semis. Looks like you have a good chance of making it to the final. Good luck - hope you win the cup.

Now, when younger, as with most male youth growing up in the north through the 70's, I was prone to the odd outburst of fisticuffs. Mainly handbags at 7 paces stuff, and to defend myself against anyone who took an instant hatred to long hair and patchulie oil. I am not a violent man. The older I get, the more I see only futility in people being violent to each other. But if one more TW*T mentions Deano and that miss again, I will have you sorted. Let it LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder when the last time an all North-West semi final took place?

At the beginning of the season I said I would be happy with a 50 point season and a decent cup run.
Looking good now and anything else is a bonus especially in the cup. We've had some cracking games this season.
Feels good.
Welcome Simo.

I notice the final is on May 14th this year; ironically the day Man City are due to play Stoke

What do we reckon for Sat/Sun for this? I'm guessing we'll be the Saturday game given the European game Citeh could be involved the Thursday prior.

By all means drive & get toQueensbury, Kingsbury etc., etc, & you can have a few sups then tube one, maybe two stops. but ffs don't get too close to Wembley. Once close the one-way they set up sucks you into the official car parks & there's no avoiding them. You could buy a small yacht for the price they charge.TKIZ! wrote:Would assume that the cheaper ones are behind the goal and up in the gods. Not sure we could always ask the Brum City fans who went t'other week?
Then it takes about 7 weeks to get out at the end.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Sorry! I meant it ironic how they're having a 3rd place playoff on the day of the real FinalBruce Rioja wrote:That's just freaked me out. Cheers, Chief!RusholmeRuffian wrote:I notice the final is on May 14th this year; ironically the day Man City are due to play Stoke

At least if we win it, we can parade it front of the Citeh fans at home on the last day!
Must stop these thoughts...

So, train ticket prices have gone up already, only by a fiver but they are more than likely going to rise.
£60 return at the moment from Piccadilly. What are peoples other travelling options to maybe make that a bit cheaper?
