I remember us playing Leeds one season what seemed like 5 times and every time we'd get a kicking. The following season I remember it being Chelsea (Ruud Gullit as manager) using the 4 or so times they played us for shooting practice, so it must have been mid-90's. The years when we were good I was on a hiatus... if they really happened

On a slightly more poignant note, I believe that West Ham are still feeding millions of spondulicks into Sheff U on the back of the legal case {Tevez and some other illegal Argie}, and look where they are presently. All this talk of bouncing straight back up into the Premiership is over-rated. It needs to be made absolutely sure that a spiral into the lower depths doesn't commence. Forget the Premiership, we need to concentrate on staying in the Championship right now.

Fantastic word! I've only ever encountered what I assume is the American spelling of 'spondulix' though. Surprised they left the 'u' in. Veritable picayunes in comparison to the the wealth of remaining in the Premiership though!

Not sure what to make of that line up. It's a formation proven to work against yorkshire clubs so what can go wrong

my view on afobe is he's been a bit gash...but im keeping an open mind on the lot of them until they have a proper manager and staff.

Well Big Sam has been signing his old boys from around the grounds and it seems Warnocks done the same playing Tonge and Brown in midfield. Never really understood why those two were as highly rated as they were back in those Sheffield United days when they were aiming for promotion but obviously Warnock sees something in them.

David Norris on the bench, would be interesting to see him come on as a sub back on his old ground. Diouf starts so at least we're facing one ex-white.
