we have appointed Crystal palaces 3rd worst manager in the last 30 yrs?
Who is, statistically speaking, better than our last manager in the last 3 years. I think.

36% win rate at 1.37 pt/game
Owen Coyle - Bolton only
33% Win Rate & 1.19 Pt/Game
Smegson - Bolton only
28% Win Rate & 1.09 Pt/Game
Sam Allardyce - Bolton only
41% Win Rate & 1.52 Pt/Game
Again these will include cup games so the Points per Game is not based on league matches only but 3 points for every win and 1 for a draw for their Bolton/Palace matches. This gives a better statistic than win rate.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Ipswich have now been linked with Dougie Freedman, apparently

Megson – what a tossbag!
With our squad, facilities, and backroom; the impending return of Holden; his personal development as a manager; and some investment from Eddie, I don't see why Dougie can't be up there with Big Sam.

Dont sign just yet Dougie, who needs a struggling promotion favourite when you could manage the team at the very bottom!

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
Lot's of interweb gossip saying that Freedman to Bolton is still not definite. Confusing to say the least. Someone trying to unsettle us?? I bet it's bloody Coyle!!
It ain't easy, Sleazy even, Deceiving those we, Believe in.
Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
It's all down to the assistants from Palace. A deal needs to be struck to get them in. Compensation will need to be agreed and I suspect this is the delay.

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
I can understand Palace fans being upset at Freedman but not sure what we have done wrong to deserve any bad karma? It was the same with Burnley fans. In both cases we made an offer that the club accepted and the manager decided he wanted to talk to us. Whats wrong with that?Eagle in peace wrote:That's what we said about you guys!Annoyed Grunt wrote:Depends what money they throw at him.Jez wrote:Dont sign just yet Dougie, who needs a struggling promotion favourite when you could manage the team at the very bottom!
