Whatever happens, I sense we could be in some trouble and needing to bed a lot of new players in very quickly.

I'm praying our scouts have already identified targets and we can get those players in quickly.
Sounds like we will be rebuilding our squad around Zat. Looks promising.
Sounds like a lot like most seasons for us.
Sounds like blind pessimism to me.

Jesus. We don't have to sell anyone we don't want to. Nobody is going to be buying Medo yet.

Not a chance we will sell all those players unless Dougie wants to and can bring in better.

Chill out.

The future is bright, the future is Dougie.

Dougie has his own plans. Be interesting to see how many of our current players fit into them. If we don't get promoted, a large financial hole will be appearing and the club will need to reduce the wage bill, starting with some of those on bigger wages. I've got every confidence that Dougie will be able to bring in players that can do the job at a cheaper rate.

I think that we have a good one here, he does seem to be able to spot a good player. Many have a problem with certain positions.

If we don't gain promotion via the play offs, the budget for next year will not be greatly different from this years. Our parachute payment goes up from £16m to £17m then it drops to £8m for the next two seasons ( As I understand please correct me if I am wrong ). We lost a couple of our bigger earners last year and will get a few more this season whether we go up or not.

I think we will see Dougie with a sensible budget to build a better side for next season if we remain in the Championship and make it Dougies BWFC.

Best source I can come up with, it confirms the figures I quote and give details that teams relegated this season will receive £60m spread over four years.

Dunno whether it's been mentioned but I'd hope DF would have had a tip from his old defensive coach Tony Popovic, now doing rather well under his own steam in the A-league

I'd imagine more of a right back than a centre back at 5' 11" (Source: Wikipedia)
