Re: Time to pop Boneymouth's cherry
Lonergan makes a good diving catch after Francis does well. Dans loses out and back they come. Beckford hobbling as 995 Bolton fans announced. Chungy....and...Kamara, Ream, we get a throw. And...they get a free kick for a foul. And....they get a free on the box edge after the ref missed it but the liner blew it up. Ream gets a yellow as......it whistles over the top from the shot....Whew.....
Long kick from them is cleared by Mills. They come again....The chances of anything coming from Knight.....oh, hey up, he's on for Chungy. Stanley Knight, the dashing winger.....? And....Onellusi can't find Dans and they break forward. This is twitchy stuff. They're having too much ball but Odelussi wins it back for us. Throw them cleared and we're under pressure. Mills clears but Dans loses it and gets a bollocking off Lonergan. McDonald off is the last change for them....and they have another shot wide. We're getting away with it as four official minutes tick up. Extra time?....

Re: Time to pop Boneymouth's cherry
Ooooooohhhhh. Dans has a chance to win it and fires wide after good work from Beckford. They come back at us yet again....this is hard work as McNaughton gives away a free kick. Blocked, then Dans breaks and finds Beckford....Odelussi loses it. They charge again and Francis has been a real threat. Back they come as we look at the fourth official? Four minutes and we're inside em. Baptiste knocks it out and then we clear. Long again to Beckfortd and...Spearing blast one into the fans behind the goal. I'm starting to believe..... I am....
Two minutes......Francis again and Lonergan saves. Wallops it and Lonergan clears again. Now Beckford......2-0.....

From Tango's commentary, it sounds like the most convincing display of the season!

Thanks Tango. How many unbeaten is that now?
Re: Time to pop Boneymouth's cherry
We're 6 unbeaten.

Ahem. Called it.Jakerbeef wrote:I predict we'll start playing with unclipped wings away from home and pick up 3 points here, like at Brum. Bournemouth have a crap goal difference, they could falter.
On the bright side, we're unbeaten in 5.

Re: Time to pop Boneymouth's cherry
Beckford will be in trouble, should've been defending. Gameplan Jermaine!! It's not all about you.

Yep. Quite a common sub last time we went on a multiple-game unbeaten run.Bruce Rioja wrote:This'll be us seeing the game out, will it?Bijou Bob wrote:Zat replaces a struggling Chungy

Unbeaten in 6. Clean sheet. And up to 19th.

Great result from an expected performance. Nice to see both strikers on the scoresheet.
The boos for Knight coming on were a bit of a surprise. Surely bringing Knight on and having him hear boos for the substitutions won't be doing him any favours, hopefully he doesn't take it personally as i'm sure its down to the type of substitution (RM for a CB) than the actual player coming on.

It all sounds good till you say " ... up to 19th ..." doesn't it !!CrazyHorse wrote:Unbeaten in 6. Clean sheet. And up to 19th.

Anyway, a win's a win. Now for some at home.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
