^^^ I really, really LoL'd at that. Bravo
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Dead Deadline Day
Beckford could be a loan next week, apparently still enjoying his chat with Fulham officials according to Iles
Pfffft.
Re: Dead Deadline Day
Mr Iles..
I've probably told this story before on a deadline day - but I interviewed Rivaldo in Greece a few years later (via an interpreter) and he confirmed he'd nearly signed for Bolton. It was in the days where not all stories in the paper made the website, and as such, I can't find any trace of it now!

Can't see Beckford to Fulham, they've just signed Matt Smith from Leeds (who I think is a forward)

It's a mark of the impact he made that I wouldn't want him even in this division. Are Arsenal hanging on just for Japanese sales purposes?

Re: Dead Deadline Day
I'm guessing we got all the paperwork in on time, we just need to finaluse some details.
I'll catch up with them all in the morning, if I can sleep with all the excitement.

I'm guessing if someone picked up his salary, we'd have some wriggle room to bring a loan in our direction...bobo the clown wrote:We would LOAN him ???ChrisC wrote:Loan window stays open so would probably go into next week you would think.bobo the clown wrote:Is he in a bloody helicopter ?ChrisC wrote:Beckford to Leeds is the word now!!

Fulham signed Matt Smith - as Sun readers knew first - and Beckford to Fulham was a lot of crap from an agent ...

I'm disappointed that we couldn't sell Beckford but at least Iles is on hand to cheer us all up by reminding us we almost signed Rivaldo a while ago.ChrisC wrote:Mr Iles..

Re: Dead Deadline Day
Burnley apply to Premier League for an extension. Player not named. Hope it's not Mark Davies.
