Clayton, Clough, Vela, Threlkeld, Quade Taylor, Andy Kellet

6 young players to build a team round

Then theres Tom Eaves/Hayden White/

Add to the mix the likes of Mark Davies,,, and a few of our other half decent/half fit first teamers such as Baptiste/Ream/Cravies/Spearing/Wheater then we don't have too bad a first 11

Our club hasnt got a pot to pith in but we do have a good steady stream of exciting young footballers coming through which should give us a lot of hope for the future

Don't forget,,,,,, you win nothing with kids :D :P

hmmmm... eagles? taken on and released with little impact by two clubs since leaving us? not a great sign...

having said that - he HAS got an honorary degree from the University of Bolton for his services to sport... which says summat about Eagles (or about Bolton uni!)

That's why it would kill me! Fair play to him for his turnaround and I hope we keep him, but to get rejected by Darren f*cking Pratley after the years of shite he put us through would bloody kill me!

Eaves and White will never make it. Far from convinced about Threlkeld too. Not seen Taylor. Kellet could go either way. Apart from that...:D

Threlkeld would do better if he got his hair cut, then he could give 100% concentration to the match instead of doing his hair every 5 mins.

He's not one of our intake. He's 18 years old, currently at Citeh, and is a 'versatile defender who features primarily at full-back'.

His profile says he's outgoing. Can't argue with that if they've ditched him.

Did a bit more digging - looks like we've had him for a short while - he featured in the 5-0 Yoof Cup defeat to Crewe.

From Th'Offish.

Matt Mills, Craig Davies, Andrew Lonergan, Jermaine Beckford and Keith Andrews will officially depart Macron Stadium at the end of June, whilst Chris Lester, Georg Iliev, Luke Woodland, Glenn Matthews, Ryan Sellers, James Ball, Carl Kennedy and Kieran Nolan will also leave.

Some players in there who need replacing, but I'm confident Lennon can use their wages better on other players. Andrews and Mills presumably hoping Owen Coyle's got a generous chairman.

so - without additions - we're still building our defense around Ream, Dervite, Moxey, Wheater... and then Taylor and Threlkeld have shiny new contracts... and there's Hayden White...

given that Lennon says he will spend most of what he has to spend prioritising a 20-goal a season striker - we might need some decent freebie/loan reinforcement there...

edit: oh - yeah - and Janko! :D

So we've let Lonergan go without knowing whether Bogdan is staying?

I imagine we've asked Lonners to sit tight for a week or so, but saying that - It's Bolton Wanderers - We're not famed for our decision making ability!
