I know which set of fans are happier right now.The_Gun wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 8:21 pmYes, their three set piece goals were thrilling…BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 8:19 pmOh please. Paying to watch John Becks Cambridge reincarnated. It’s akin to playing snooker on a minefield.
Can’t be considered a good side if you can’t come to places like this and mix it when necessary.

Three times more exciting than we are with nought.The_Gun wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 8:21 pmYes, their three set piece goals were thrilling…BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 8:19 pmOh please. Can’t stand this sort of nonsense. Football is all things all styles. We are so soft we just can’t cope.

Obviously their fans are happier, but I’d hardly say they’ve been ‘exciting’.

Shit up top too.
No chance of getting anything out of this with what we have up there.

Oh give over! Yes it’s poor we’ve shipped three from set pieces but it’s a fecking park pitch set up so that throw ins and corners are king. If that’s as good as it gets to be a Burton fan I think it’s a bit shit! That Hamers only on the pitch for his throw insWorthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 8:22 pmI know which set of fans are happier right now.The_Gun wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 8:21 pmYes, their three set piece goals were thrilling…BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 8:19 pmOh please. Well we certainly ain't on tonight's performance...So on balance I'll still take a 3-0 lead thanks (in fairness, I'd take a 1-0 lead)
Anyhow as an aside. I have to say (and I know we can't expect everyone to hit the ground like Charles/Flossie) - I'm not yet convinced by Dempsey, DadBod or Sadlier (for us, I thought he was pretty good for Rotherham)...
That doesn't mean I'm consigning them to the shit bin, just that they've not really convinced me yet.

Burton are giving us a prime example of what I want us to be when in plan b. Hard to be all things to everyone and I'm glad with what sort of side we are and what type of football we play but like insane has said we have to be better in matches like this to be considered a good side.
At the moment we're good in parts and have been naive today. We can do better.

Ohhh, that pitch is a bit muddy, how could we possibly play on a L1 muddy away pitch.
We're just waiting on someone to post "That's not proper football" and we're there!

Certainly wasn't a prediction, but I am prepared to take full responsibility for the current scoreline.
Or would be, if it wasn't just a case of not preparing properly for them.

Got to be some half time subs. Bakayoko and Dempsey off for me. Dion and Morley on.

Williams was limping like a lame horse at times, which is really not good.
