It’s not negative it’s pointing out that we should have killed this game off already with the positions we’ve had and that Charlton look dangerous enough for that to be a concern.Mar wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 1:06 pmSuch a negative spin on a real positive performance so far. Glass half empty I take it.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 1:02 pmWe’ve wasted so many good positions round their box. Dempsey not great yet either.
They are very dangerous their two wide men both easily have the beating of our wing backs. They look a better side than many top half lots we’ve played.
Concerning this injury to Johnston, quite a knock to the back of his head and falling on his knee also. Can imagine he'll be coming off here.

I've just brewed up again so hopefully we can see out the half.

He isn't but I can't help thinking he should be.

This is an impressive performance on a bad pitch against a very good side.
Quality not always there so far, but we are so well coached. The press is exceptional.

^^ certainly played better than 1-0 up front and yeah, too open at the back. We're terrifying them when we attack...

I'd expect their defence will continue to offer us good opportinities throughout.
It's a matter of making sure we take them.

Shoretire looks to be really good then really quiet. Either they're doing well at keeping him quiet or we're not getting the ball enough to him.

I’ve seen a few games like this in my time. Frustrating. All over them going forward. Can’t kill it off.

Should be 3-0. Adeboyejo will nail one of these when he comes on later.

How are we not two or three up I'll never know, cracking match.

It's such a good entertaining match so far. Should be two up, definitely warranted. Charlton doing some really good defending putting their bodies in the way.
