Lovely save by Baxter.
Quite the shot after that. Not sure it was intended.

Stevenage 2-0 Peterborough
Burton 0-1 Portsmouth
Hardly unexpected results.
Thats another shocking free kick given to Oxford on the edge of their box.

Fair few off it so far tonight. Oxford getting a lot of joy in their press.
Santos, Thomason, Sheehan, Maghoma, JDC all below their usual levels.

Couch is setup. Press refresh, if you have any further issues then I'll be along to plump the pillows up.

Corner conceded by Santos. There's more in that for a free kick than the one that he gave for JDC's foul just moments before.
Terrible inconsistency by the referee here.
And there we have it, another free kick for Oxford in our half...

Though I’m recalling how refs piss me off so much so I better stay away.HMX wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:32 pmAye, must be because I’ve tuned in for once.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:31 pmFair few off it so far tonight. Oxford getting a lot of joy in their press.

Worst referee this season. Absolute Cnut.
Re: Whatever floats your boat.. V Oxford United, Tuesday 28th Nov.7-45.
Hahaha, ref books Baxter for remonstrating while Bodin scythes down one of our men.

That foul on Sheehan was a joke. Ref books Baxter then their number 10.

Few problems for Evatt to solve here. Fair to say we’ve not really turned up so far. Baxter been superb but we are mighty fortunate to be 0-0.
I think we need some fresh legs. And to stop giving it away.

Baxter presumably saying what we're all thinking. Ref not liking it, yellow for him and Bodin. Didnt look like their man was going to get one and I suspect the only reason he got a booking was an evening up process after Baxter's free kick.
Biased refereeing is the order of the day here.
Positives:
Better first 30 mins than Exeter
Some decent build up
Baxter looking to get his team of the week
Negatives:
Oxford growing into the game
Ref inconsistency
Sonic's kettles not working as per usual
