"Yes, we have no bananas!" Away to Barrow by the sea. Tues, Sept 3rd 7-45. -45

There's the set piece goal conceded. Piss poor defending by Johnston, leaving his man unmarked. Tit.

I mean, I don’t care at all about this comp, but with the team we’ve put out we really should be doing better.

You don’t risk first team players tonight.
Fab, we'll just never get anyone match fit in time for any big game. Brilliant idea.
You tell me when he will be match fit? It was a stupid idea and this isn’t hindsight.

Anyway has happened now and Evatt will have to deal with it. Can’t moan.

When the same mistakes are being made each time, is it on the players or the manager?

Best to go out of this competition at the group stage.

I will say that Schon looks a long way off what we need. A long way.

Barrow played three passes at the back then got it forward above our press but with a measured ball. We’ve had all the possession but could learn a thing or two.

Collins offside, again.

Whoever the barrow manager is, is probably worth a look. Isn’t this their second side? Played some very good stuff.

He looks a decent LB for me.

Decent passage of play in the Collins offside. Weve had moments and been undone on set pieces. Crappy set pieces.

Huge hole where a centre forward should be at times here. Collins wants to drift and Dempsey and McAtee want to play in spaces.

No idea who it is. But why not? They probably already hate us/are thankful.

Sacked Gillingham manager Stephen Clemence? His record? He won 12 of his 34 games in charge. Now where have I heard something similar to that?

Played OK to be fair but same old story, final ball shit, not making enough of possession and conceded a soft goal from a corner. More ammunition for Evatt out.
