Kicking the bucket .E.F.L Cup 3rd round. Away to Arsenal Wed, 25th Sep. 7-45.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Can't disagree with that. Plucky almost. Might have more skill but you're not going to beat us on effort.

Kettle's on for the comeback.
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

So much for being hard to beat. Not quite Huddersfield bad but not great.

McAtee looking round then and seeing Arfield 25 yards away was quite funny.

Waving him up the pitch.

If he can't up his levels for this game for this then he's not going to be getting many minutes this season.

It’s nowhere near Huddersfield. Nowhere near. Arsenal have world class players.

Evatt is going to have to accept his style, won’t get us where we need to get and abandon it. Passing out from the back as Sam says is a disaster. Time Evatt listened to those with a lot more experience and far better track records and turn us into a proper drilled league one side.

This lot are a million times better than us to be fair. They probably have 3 teams that could beat us!

Evatt not risking his two main strikers then.

If I was Evatt I’d see if we could get away with a second goalkeeper now!

One or two look overawed to me.

Don't concede any more now, please!

They get slightly more, but they do have to score two each to grab the draw

Kin ell. Any decent defending would've prevented a few of these. Always a tough ask but we do need to stop giving goals away.
