Depends really, where do the board want to be and when? Are we happy playing tippy tappy - crowds are still large enough? We’re not going up though this season. Not with this management team. No way.

I think, when I look at the table tonight, it'd be a difficult ask to have anyone believe from what we've seen, that we're worth a much higher place and the problem with a catch-up sequence us it only takes 45 minutes like the first half (where we looked a whole lot more like Brand Evatt) and you don't quite make the catch up. 14 points from 9 - lets call it 1.5ppg for cash, and we've been doing that since Jan.

If the board are happy with not going up this season then they are a problem.

I'm not an 'Evatt outer' by any means but that 2nd goal is unforgivable. As they lined up for the corner, several of us were shouting to watch out for Shipley and someone go to the edge of the box. If you keep doing what you've always done....

It looks harder than last season to me. Always has. Not changing after Oxford (or with the benefit of hindsight, before!) looks like the big mistake. At what point do we write this one off?

If he claimed unfair dismissal I’d show those two Shrewsbury goals, months apart, and that fourth against Huddersfield to the tribunal. Wouldn’t bother paying for a lawyer!

I do think that they (the board) are a little blinkered and naive when it comes down to Evatt & almost burying their heads in the sand just hoping that he turns this around because SB clearly likes him - however what I can't understand is Michael James as a life long BWFC fan sitting in his seat thinking that the football on display is acceptable and that we are actually going backwards.

However, it's their money and therefore they can do whatever they want regardless of what many fans think.

Yeah was always going to be harder. But we’ve spent a lot of money again. I think after 9 games the bare minimum was top 8 and I’m being incredibly generous there. In reality top 6.

The problem is the board can’t bring themselves to admit Evatt isn’t good enough and Evatt can’t bring himself to admit it either.

But today is the players attitude that is the problem. Couldn’t be bothered first half thought they’d stroll it and got a rude awakening. Allardyce might transfer list half the team after that. Rioch would have them running up winter hill. Ultimately though it’s a disgrace that they turn in performances like that. It’s purely down to their mentality.

Only in the promotion sense as opposed to a saving the club one..

He might not, but it wouldn't be his call.

Call, maybe not, but he's certainly earned his "say." I don't think even Shaz has >50% currently...

I agree, his opinion surely couldn't be ignored.

All of these other investors must also be getting twitchy.

He has, but I'm not going to conclude that Evatt still being here necessarily means he agrees with it.

He might be hands off for all we know and leaving it to Sharon to make calls.

All true. We just don't know. But what we do know, is he sits close enough to Shaz, to mention if he's unhappy.

Who knows he may be a happy clapper & happy with what he see's - unless someone knows him we will never know.

Daughter visited today so I missed some of the first half. Played like gobbins for their goals and promotion is a joke right now. Little point scoring two goals and conceding two. We'll get left behind unless we start getting three pointers.

I've just seen the head on head at the end of the game, it absolutely wasn't a head butt and its obviously down to frustration - but as a manager you can't do that, I think that's down to the pressure he's feeling.

I also wonder what Sharon thinks about it with her morals & values etc.

BTW his pre planned 2nd half substitutions stopped all of the momentum that we had after getting back to 2-2 - but we shouldn't be surprised by that should we as he's done the same on several previous occasions.

Aye - Victor off and mcatee on would have been a move to do. Leave Charles on as the form striker. Collins just isn’t clicking at all in the league.

At least by getting sent off we weren’t subject to any Evatt after match bollocks. Atherton has blamed the players for that second, killer goal. They didn’t listen to instructions.
