And was he not perhaps asked about Cahill and was merely answering the question?

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
there is some talk this morning of Kenny being after Dann.... which would only leave Wenger in the hat for Cahill...
Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
And has had a scout watch him 20 times. Yeah, sounds like he's not interested in him. Plus £15m (£12m with add ons) for an unproven young man is in the words of my Gooners supporting missus 'ridiculous because we(her) knows that they have some great youth players who would be better and would cost not cost them'Abs wrote:So you guys are angry on Wenger for not wanting to pay 17 million for Cahill? I would understand if he behaved like Barca and talked about Cahill all the time and still not pay. he made one enquiry and when the price was quoted said thanks, but no thanks. I expect to see Coyle again on sky sport news advertising CahillTKIZ! wrote:Agreed. Wenger really has lost the plot. Team leaking goals. I know sign another attacking playerCAPSLOCK wrote:Reet

As I said on Twitter yesterday, I know a good friend of Cahill's and he did not have a medical yesterday with Arsenal. However, he didn't confirm or deny that one was planned

Interesting one of GC's in-laws- think that's the relation, can't quite remember, has just tweeted:
"I sense a bit of movement on the transfer front. Maybe not from the club that people expect though. May trigger a bidding war?"
Interesting because he's normally been the first person to dismiss rumours every time some idiot Arsenal fan went 'oh we're signing him this week', he'd be back with a 'well I've just spoken to him, and no you aren't.

It'll be his (possibly fictional) younger brother moving non league teams or some shit. Like the 'Wanderers in audacious swoop for Rooney' headlines about his brother.
