No mention of Fenopej? The greatest fro to ever grace the reebok!

Edit: turns out he's New Caledonian. Nothing to see here.

I wonder if young Douglas'll be going back in for any of his former charges?

CRYSTAL Palace defenders Danny Gabbidon, Jonathan Parr and Dean Moxey have been released by the Eagles, it has been announced this morning.

Joining the trio are striker Aaron Wilbraham and goalkeeper Neil ALexander, while a number of the club's youngsters will also be departing Selhurst Park.

The likes of Osman Sow, Ibra Sekajja, Quade Taylor, Derek Tieku, Ross Fitzsimons, Tom King and Alistair Gordon will all be looking for new clubs this summer.

A host of Championship clubs will be particularly interested in Gabbidon, Parr, Moxey and Wilbraham.

Moxey could be the one.

As in the Wolves' Dean Moxey?

Isn't he, like, eighty?

Edit: Getting old. Was crossing Jez Moxey with Dean Saunders. Carry on.

I just checked out Aaron Wilbraham, but he's nearly as old as me and has only a slightly better scoring record.

I see the filthy red Macheda's gone to Cardiff. Can't imagine we could match their wage offer but I'd be surprised if we hadn't been looking at him.

He scored more goals last season than any of our strikers. And whilst he was on loan at free scoring clubs like Birmingham and Doncaster!

Christ it were 5hit last season :|

Cardiff are going to have a decent strike force next season for this league with Macheda and Le Fondre.

They've also got Andy Mason, or whatever he's called.

If they buy Jutkiewicz, they could pair them up as well.

Cardiff's Football Manageresque accumulation of strikers leads me to wonder whether The Mace will be back on a season-long loan...

Moxey: left-sider, primarily left-back (but has played left-wing and up front), 6ft 2in, "only" 28, knows the division, first choice last season until shortly after Pulis arrived, apparently we asked to loan him in January, apparently us and Leeds are interested now. If his wages aren't high I wouldn't mind him bringing competition/cover for Tierney at left-back, although Oscar Threlkeld might not be too impressed.

I'd rather have le Fondre. Not because I doubt Macheda's ability, but because he irritates me.
