Oh my wordjimbo_bwfc wrote:Interesting one of GC's in-laws- think that's the relation, can't quite remember, has just tweeted:

Interesting because he's normally been the first person to dismiss rumours every time some idiot Arsenal fan went 'oh we're signing him this week', he'd be back with a 'well I've just spoken to him, and no you aren't.

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
What it seems is that Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs are all in the hunt for a new centre-back, but with Cahill, Dann and Samba seemingly available and no desperate requirement at any club for someone they're trying to leave it as long as possible and drive the price down...

Liverpool fan just told me they've had informal talks with Gary Cahill's agent today.
Most likely BS. Possibly a small step in the right direction, I suppose.

so... Fibreglass is off - leaving Wenger with a wodge of cash burning a hole in his pocket...
(I did think Arsenal always said it was £40million or no deal - but - hey £27mill plus add-ons will have to do) - and that's enough to buy Cahill.

Why are you so keen to flog him at this stage?
Chill out man. By the time Wenger makes a decision about anything the rioters will have taken over the earth!

He knows f uck all about us, that's why.
I agree with Mr Negative (
) - what will be, will be. Our spending isn't based on what we earn from Cahill, so why worry? If he stays then he stays. Chill the f uck out.

£30mil plus £5mil add ons actually. Made a fair chunk of money on him there I suspect. Good luck to him, shall laugh if he doesn't make the first team though. Now, no doubt, Cahills price will suddenly rise...

The fact that he's pay YOU shows how desperate he is to get the F out too.
Sinking ship, love.

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
because I'd rather flog him now and raise a wodge of cash than lose him for nowt next season. I would be VERY surprised if Coyle hasn't got a couple of targets lined up for pretty speedy CB acquisition should we sell Cahill. I also reckon Coyle is also pretty keen to flog him and get rid of the ongoing uncertainty that would simply roll over in to the "will he sign a new contract" and then "will we have to sell him in January" uncertainties should we not sell him now.BWFC_Insane wrote:Bloody hell Bish are you Cahills agent?thebish wrote:so... Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
And i'm not fussed about him leaving. He doesn't want to be at Arsenal, we got a good amount for him and we have plenty of quality in central mid.Lofthouse Lower wrote:The fact that he's pay YOU shows how desperate he is to get the F out too.

It won't be a sinking ship if wenger signs a quality defender or two but i won't be making any assumptions til the end of the transfer window that way.
Does Cahill want to leave?
