Confirmed by Nixon, albeit cryptically, that we've signed Miyachi on loan. Decent cover.

If we get Mr. Myachi (which looks a done deal) and Iturbe don't really think we will need Zaha, saving us 5 million big ones...plus then we can get Le Toux (if his trail was any good), it's getting quite exciting

Two unproven young players on loan, could work...might not...

However, it leaves us with the same problem come the summer.

Mind if they are good enough help us stay up who cares?

Though assuming we got him for £5m and he lived up to his potential, it would likely represent large profits in the future. This seems to be something Coyle in thinking about in his dealings, which is good news. But I agreee, Zaha isn't going to make or break our season.

As much as Nixon keeps protesting that Zaha deal is still on, it blatantly isn't given the quotes flying around.

Probably though if we get a couple of good loans we can keep the money for the summer when we get better value.

We still need to make sure we get those good loans now though!

This, basically. Would rather take our chances with unproven youngsters on loan than for £5M.

The latest update, is...

One done, one pending, and 2 down to whether fees can be agreed.

So the done one is that Japanese lad from Arsenal on loan.

The pending (and very complex situation apparently) appears to be "the new Messi" Iturbe on loan.

The 2 fees presumably are Zaha and Le Toux.

How can that be substantiated?

Despite what the Palace chairman and Coyle have been saying, it doesn't seem that our bid has been rejected yet. Perhaps they're giving themselves some time to tout him about first.

But as long as the offer hasn't been rejected, there's always a chance.

This is all "in Nixon world"....

He's basically said its the Japanese lad, who is "done". To what extent that means nobody knows...
