Feeney for me, is as you say, a limited but 110% effort player. He will put crosses in the wrong places most certainly - if he got 100% of them on Madine's head (who'd miss the fecker anyhow), he wouldn't be playing for us.
It is just modern football fans. I shudder to think of the reaction when they wake up and realise the market (if we even have a market) we are shopping in for next season.

For the record.
Club has now confirmed Feeney's loan. And, at his press conference this morning, JP said "I don't think we will be seeing Jay in a Bolton shirt again this season."
Deanno's got his feather duster out for a spot of Spring cleaning.

Well he has to save money and fast. I'm not sure it is spring cleaning more like a closing down sale.TonyDomingos wrote:For the record.

Fair cop - the stats I quoted were league-only, whereas our Gateshead GoalMachine GobShite also bagged that all-important first equaliser at home to Eastleigh.throwawayboltonian wrote:As DSB said his stats put him at the top of our assists and key passes tables, but I think he's slightly wrong as to my knowledge Feeney is second(?) on our goalscoring charts with Madine slightly ahead on 6.

who was it - not long ago - who was trying to convince us that Madine would still hit double figures for us this season???

Stoked up by other nobs on that Lion of Vienna nonsense, adding a witchhunt into their irritating ego trip.Worthy4England wrote:

He's on 6 with 11 matches to go, it's not unfeasible. A double figure striker on a free transfer? Sounds like good value to me. Bear in mind it's not long since we were paying SKD probably 5 times as much for the same goal tally, if not the same work rate or effect.thebish wrote:who was it - not long ago - who was trying to convince us that Madine would still hit double figures for us this season???

There are only 9 matches left until the nightmare is over (at least until next season).Bijou Bob wrote: He's on 6 with 11 matches to go, it's not unfeasible.

not impossible - but I detect a change of tone... "not infeasible" sounds a good deal less confident than "undoubtedly"!

I believe Madine is capable of getting ten goals this season. Particularly now he's not got that gobby aggressive know nowt chancer breathing down his neck any more.
Businesswoman of the year.

Maybe so. But that doesn't alter the fact that you haven't changed one iota and are still a pedantic, argumentative, attention seeking wum!thebish wrote:Stick?? Beating?? Lighten up squire - nobbut a bit of gentle teasing! Give your head a wee shake!!

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
Thank you for riding in on your white charger BP, but I'm ugly enough to fight my corner. Madine was a fee free signing. I still think with a decent manager he would have scored more. He might get double figures, he might get less. What do you expect for nowt?
