Isn't it all abit nineties anyway?
Let's update it.
How about
John Terry is a man-slag
He'll shag anything that breathes
But when he's on his missus
He's longing for Tom Eaves

You've taken this to a new level.
I'm a big fan of satsumas
They're orange and they're juicy
If I had to draw a footballer
I'd choose our Odelusi
I once went to a seaside town
I went to visit Filey
But when it comes to our right back
My dough's on young Joe Riley

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Rumours Liverpool have offered 12m + NGog for Cahill. Started out as twatter rumours from fans but seems to be building abit of momentum- few more reputable people are saying yep it's happening. Great deal if true, crap time to happen on eve of first game. Wheater N Knight? Suppose it'd beat Shittu and Gabbidon! Sure we'll find out tomorrow morning if there is anything to it, anyhoo

Yeah, this guy seems to think it's true -

I can confirm that Liverpool have offered £12m, plus David Ngog, for Bolton's Gary Cahill. Never interested in Dann

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
I really hope this is true! I'm guessing the deal is equivalent to 16 mil, which is something we could never turn down were a cash only bid to come in for Gaz.

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
I wonder if (of course if this deal is true) we might attempt to sign Scott Dann with the money. It appears that non of the top clubs are interested in him and we need a ready made replacement, and Birmingham are desperate to sell.
Would be the perfect scenario in my eyes.

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
I very much doubt that will happen.
I'm not sure we'll sign anyone, though Mears' injury may mean a loan/low cost deal.

Yeah I didn't think it would be likely, but considering they are looking to sell/he wants a move, and we need a replacement, I would be disappointed if Coyle wasn't looking at it.Lord Kangana wrote:I very much doubt that will happen.

Just seen a Liverpool fan say getting Cahill would make them title contenders.

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Let them believe. Keeps the clamour for his signature high, the pressure greater, the chances of a favourable deal higher.

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
It would have to be £16m and NGog before we even entertain any deal
Pfffft.
