Can't see it myself.. Personally I think the media has gone with the French idea mentioned in the article and N'gog is a realistic target over the likes of Benzema etc..

I'd like to rule myself out of any rumours. I've visited France twice.ChrisC wrote:TKIZ! wrote:Turn the sat nav back on and warm up the car

I think Dougie is (quite rightly) a fan of Ngog's. Shirley we wouldn't sell him for £2m?!

Dawson on loan for the season is a done deal, what I'm hearing.

Meanwhile, hasn't it's gone quiet on the Slovakian I'd never heard of ..... or have I missed something ?
I blame Worthy.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

This sounds positive and well done if there was competition for him.Loyal White wrote:Dawson on loan for the season is a done deal, what I'm hearing.

According to some individual who claims to be a sport journalist, the deal is done but just need international clearance or something.bobo the clown wrote:Good .... I think.Loyal White wrote:Dawson on loan for the season is a done deal, what I'm hearing.

I really don't understand why so many rate N'Gog on here. He's a striker yet;thebish wrote:beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....officer_dibble wrote:I like ngog but he cant have long on his contract.

- he struggles to hold up the ball
- he can't beat a man
- he's not a natural finisher
- isn't blessed with blistering pace
In addition, he has fitness issues and very rarely plays a full 90.
But, of course, he works hard. Agreed, it's not a bad trait but one of the most overrated attributes, especially when the player can't supplement the high work rate with any other skill or attribute.
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
I disagree. He holds the ball up really well IMO and brings others into play around him.. Has shown this in plenty of games where we have had little to no impact up top and he has come on as sub and changed the game.. Cardiff & Charlton games for example.enrdentw wrote:I really don't understand why so many rate N'Gog on here. I agree with the other 3 though

But they are true of the player who gets picked ahead of him.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.
Poor man last, rich man first.

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Craig Dawson.. England under 21 CB.. scores plenty for a defender aswell. 5 in 10 for England if I remember rightly.bwfcdan94 wrote:not really up to date on this, who is this dawson bloke?bobo the clown wrote:Good ....
