According to Goal.com (the fountain of all honesty and integrity for football journalism) Vela decision will be given by the end of the day.

I'd still like to see a solid midfield partner for Holden who has a bit more of an alround game than our current options.

Jamie O'Hara has been making noises about going on loan today. Would add strength to CM position

We're also being linked with one of Chungy's mates. Don't know Koo the hell he is though

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 99,00.html
Skysports.com understands Bolton Wanderers are one of a number of clubs eyeing South Korea international Koo Ja-cheol.

The midfielder currently plays for Jeju United and he has been impressing for Korea at the Asian Cup in Qatar.

Koo has scored four goals during the tournament, including a brace against Bahrain and the opener in a 1-1 draw with Australia.

The 21-year-old's displays in the competition, which saw Korea beaten on penalties by Japan in the semi-finals earlier this week, have attracted interest from across Europe.

Premier League side Bolton are understood to be keen and have already enjoyed success with Koo's compatriot Lee Chung-yong.

The winger has been a key figure for Bolton in 2009 and his influence has been missed during his presence at the Asian Cup.

Bolton have failed to win in the Premier League since Lee linked up with his country and have scored just twice in five games without the wide-man.

Coyle has said we have two loan berths available. Vela and O'Hara (with a potential view to a pemanent summer move) would suite me just fine.

What is the limit for loan players? We already have one person on loan. I thought two was the limit.

I think it's a maximum of two from other Premier League teams only. More from elsewhere. I think....

Sky Sports says that we are tracking another Korean (Koo Ja-cheol).

I was rather disappointed to find out, after reading the headline "Trotters keeping tabs on Koo" that we weren't trying to sign Prince Andrew's ex.

Or, at the very least, using her to look after our hallucinogens.

My life is clearly one long string of disappointments.

Maybe SonsofThunder is his agent?

Or Alan Nixon?

Last time I heard, Jamie O'Hara is about as likely to live in Bolton as Lofthouse Lower and Worthy For England are to live in London.

From Sky Sports transfer clockwatch:
Steve at Sky Bet: Bolton and Sunderland are fighting over the signature of Spurs striker Roman Pavlyuchenko. The Trotters are our even money favourites to land the Russian with the Black Cats 9/4 shots. See all our Transfer Special markets.

That sounds like well worth a punt coming from a bookie.

Especially since Sunderland are quids in having just unloaded Bent.

What? Are they sure they mean Bolton Wanderers? Pavluchenko? We couldn't afford him if he played for somebody normal, never mind Tottingham 'we massively overspent on all our players and now want rid, but we'd also quite like you the buyer to massively overspend so we can have our money back, what, how did that actually work, West Ham really want to pay £9million for Robbie Keane? Jesus.' Hotspur.

I thought he'd be a good addition in midfield but was surprised to read about it on Sky.

Agent? Nixon? ITK? Let's just say a good source (common sense) tells me it won't be happening in this window.
