They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

He did indeed.. i remember it well.
Re: Ricardo Gardner
There's no way in the world Gardner failed a medical that Kieron Dyer passed.
Anyway, delighted he's staying. Well overdue for that testimonial.

Re: Ricardo Gardner
If he didn't fail a medical and West Ham say he did, that's legally actionable - allowing that rumour to spread could affect his capacity to earn after this contract (eg in the MLS)

Re: Ricardo Gardner
Unless I've missed sommat I don't think West Ham have commented, medicals or otherwise.
Is this the case of folk confusing rumours and "talksport understands" with actual club comment? Apologies if I missed something.
It is of course entirely possible that Gardner had a medical of some sort there that raised concerns. Or perhaps it was the usual Allardyce trick of offer one thing then change it when the players arrive. Believe he did that with Juan Pablo Sorin once and then went chasing him round Paris. Who knows. Net result is he'll be a useful squad player for us and probably on a cheap contract. Still not sure whether Coyle is that keen on him but I guess as a squad member we could do a lot worse.

They probably haven't commented - frankly I can't be arsed checking - but Ricardo would be within his rights to ask the club to deny the rumours.BWFC_Insane wrote:Unless I've missed sommat I don't think West Ham have commented, medicals or otherwise.

Re: Ricardo Gardner
Real pleased about this. Ricky's a good lad who's been unfortunate with injuries but always come back. 13 seasons as a Wanderer and I hope he gets his testimonial and goes out of the game as a Wanderer. One of the best at left back he's always been a fan favourite. Good on you Ricky, hope you have a good season. One of the best.

Gotta agree that Ricky deserves a testimonial.TANGODANCER wrote:Real pleased about this. Said it before, I'll say it again.
Legend.
Legend.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
