Just want some points. No false dawns, flashes in the pan, or indeed the danger of putting BWFCi on suicide watch. A hard fought away point or three will kick the season off nicely for me. 0-1 or 1-1.

Vela's dad sounds well hard.

I think he should be our midfield enforcer.

I've been trying to work out if Eddie Howe is really Alan Tracy?

How old is he?

Surely there players don't take him seriously

Was going to put a prediction but I was tied between a 3-0 win, a 1-2 defeat and a 1-1 draw. In short, I have no idea how we're going to do tomorrow or for the whole season but bring it the feck on :oyea:

John Gayle was the to55pot who broke Nicky Spooners leg. One of the most draining away games I've ever been to. Down to 9 men with Spooner stretchered off we threw the ball back to them after they'd kicked it out of play while he got treatment. McGinlay, who was incensed at Gayles recklessness (he was one dirty git that bloke), chased it down and their defender panicked and kicked it out for a corner. Cue Simon Coleman on his debut (iirc) :pissed:

My two penn'orth? Away win.

Three games in a week will soon tell us what our prospects will be for this season. Quietly optimistic.

Come on boys. Since the FA cup semi at Wembley you've owed us a decent run of performances. You now have 46 chances.

Some bloke acting like a 5 year ld called vela shite. Vela saw it sent him a message saing who are you? Blah blah. Dickhead then replied saying "youre shit" then took screenshots of Velas response to that and claimed he was being bullied by an 18yo footballer.

Balls all in it..

It's important to have a good start.

None of Burnley, Derby or Forest were promotion contenders last year...

These are three very, very important games...

EITHER- we win comfortably and c50% on here post that we will piss this division, Coyle's a dickhead for taking us down with such a great squad.
OR- we lose/draw. above 50% post Coyle is a clueless dickhead and we need to get rid while other 50% post "its a marathon not a sprint" (sic) and West Ham lost their first game and still went up.

havent got a clue really apart from above

On the BBC website it says Chungy's back with Mears, Mills and Andrews playing. Burnley have a lot of injuries by the sound of it while we just have Ngog out. I was very optimistic last summer and I'm starting to get some optimism today thinking about our possible line-up. Burnley is always going to be a banana skin while Coyle's here though. I think we might have too much "quality" if we can get ourselves up for it today, hopefully the rivalry can make us up for it. Come on Wanderers!

Speaking of, is there anywhere else to watch highlights other than the Football League Show? Do, for instance, SkySports have a highlights package like they do with Football First?

Not that I'm aware of, goals are normally shown on Goals on Sunday.

Not that I know of.

I've never watched the football league show but a friend of mine who's a Leicester fan told me they show one long game and just the goals from the rest.

Reet - I'm leaving now.

Looking forward to the game. Please Coyle do not ruin my day by starting KD.
